I think what this thread is getting at is this:
Haiden only talks shit after a win, so he cant be proven wrong.
Imagine you and i ate taking the same test at school. I get a 97 and you get an 85. So i call you dumb and make fun of you.
Then the next test you outscore me; say i get an 80 and you get a 100. I don't say a word and go quiet. Respect me now?
Its this BS that looks weak to some of us, myself included.
He rarely rolls into a race brimming with shit talk, where if he doesn't back it up and he'll look bad. Hannah didn't wait till the race was won to say I'm the man. He was consistent.
Id say its the brand. Thats a way to set the narrative. Id also say its fake, it's self promotion of a character and if you want MX to go the route of Monster jam he's your guy.
The bummer is if he just raced and was himself it would be enough. Id like Haiden more if he was always wild, but the gamesmanship is a major problem. It would be sick to just have somebody always loose, overconfident, blows off losses like they were a fluke and he'll just win next time.
Perfectly said. GREAT analogy.
That's actually pretty impressive to punch down when you're 5 foot 2.
He's won about 5 of the last 6 or 7 series he's entered so I think it's safe to say he has been backing it up. I really will not be surprised if he pulls this out this weekend.
