I ve attended alota nationals and sx s and the last race was mxdn in Lakewood, other than being unable to attend due to injury, why is it that alota pro s don t come to the races to watch, MXDN was a great event in the states, guess i thought alot more pro riders would be there to support other riders, I have friend and if he s not riding he does nt want to go watch! Don t some pro s have in their contract for public appearances? I thought even though they can t ride they were still fans.

They travel all the time spend their whole lives with motorcycles. I am sure a little time away is needed.

This may be established, but I am guessing 15-16 years old.

I saw quite a few Pro's and ex-pro's that were at the MXoN, like RC, Hansen, Alessi, Tortelli, Ferry, heck even Bubba's Dad was there walking around out with everyone else. The key is you have to get out of the beer line every now and then!

They're certainly not all that way, but most top pros are pretty self-important types. Their lack of desire or care for the sport as a whole would boggle your mind.

why go to a race if your not racing? they spend endless amounts of money getting to the races they are actually riding at and those have a small purse.

sometimes the off season is a good time to actually sit on the couch and do nothing for a couple weeks!

Privateers usually don't have the extra money to travel to watch a race. While the racers that get paid might not show up because the wife or girl friend wants the off-season to be theirs.

I would much rather be at home hitting the skins with a little moto ho! Than watching motorcycles in a crowd!
