Anyone have any suggestions for a gas cap for my YZ250 2000 that doesn’t look tacky? I don’t want any shiny colourful anodised stuff from China. Any such thing as a works tank cap, or have race teams always just ran the OEM cap? I have an aluminium tank and was hoping to top it off with something nice if possible. Cheers guys and girls!
You can remove the anodize with spray oven cleaner, then polish with a fine scotch pad. Not mirror polish.
I did think about that, but they all still look a little tacky. Was hoping to find something trick.

That definitely looks cool, but I like the look of my aluminium tank. it's just the tank cap that looks a little pedestrian.
