Judge Frank Caprio passes at 88

Good guy!

The man had a huge heart.   RIP sir.

One of the good ones. Every judge should model themselves after this gentleman. A lot of them are corrupt and have lost their way. Not this one.

I only know what I've seen on a few of his videos, but it sure seems like he required the state to pass the burden of proof in a significant manner. (Good.) Also, very lenient on people who are obviously good citizens who made small mistakes. (Good.) I absolutely love the way he waives penalties, recognizing that poor people may not be able to pay the original fine easily, and thus get stuck in a growing snowball of penalties, levies, and arrest warrants. (Fantastic!)

We lost a true compassionate man. He was kind and "fair" but there were times when someone poked the bear too much and the compassion was gone. A great human being.

Can remember when some young female was in front of him and went away laughing but he called her back & jailed her and instantly wiped the smile off her face

How does everyone know a judge from Rhode Island? I never even heard of him, I don't think.

He had a popular tv show that set himself apart from the rest by showing human compassion. Very well liked.
