Making a trip to the eastern Idaho (Rigby/Driggs), anyone have any insight on some singletrack in the area? Thanks

Big boy riding, for sure.  West of the reservoir and west of Driggs have lots of motorized use trails.  Can be snow until late July and expect lots of blow down until the local yokels clear the trails.

If you're driving that far you should also go ride the Sawtooth NF and White Cloud Mtns.  Trip of a lifetime!

I appreciate it! Friend of mine rides in Sawtooth NF. He makes two trips out a year. Yeah we will be driving out so we don't have to rent bikes or anything. Will have saw with me as well

I'm 8hrs away, but I still go every couple years.  It's too awesome not to!

If you do ride the Sawtooth and WC's be sure to get the Bill Dart maps.  He labels the difficulty of the trails, so you can put an appropriate loop together.  His maps do not cover the trails in the big holes though, so I'd try to find a local club for intel.

I'll definitely do that, most likely going to be in the Caribou-Targhee NF area as of right now. I have been looking on the Idaho Trails app as well.

🤣 nice try, I will register my bike and join a club to help contribute.  Also will have my saw to help with blow downs if we come across any.

Oh PC! Don't post that pic. Hey everyone it's really flat dry and dusty. OK, it"s been three years since I've ridden Idaho. You made me start to plan my 2025 trip. YaaHoo!!! And the Bill Dart maps are really good. And Bill is a really good guy.

Thanks mica.l. Pocatello area? Late August/early Sept I'm planning to be in Italy helping out at the ISDE and a little vacation afterward. I'll keep this message around. Who knows, would be cool to meet up. Sept is a long time away from now.... YaHoo!

Probably staying up in Rigby, but close enough. Riding Caribou/Targhee NF. Mostly the west side of the reservoir as of right now. Plan on being there from the 15th to the end of the month. Sounds like a good trip! Would love to make an ISDE one day!

I live in the Idaho Falls area but have been recording alot of trail in the Sawtooth / Boise National Forest areas. I try to record the trail in full here is my latest Clip:

Another good resource for trail info is trailforks dot com, it list the trails, their difficulty and associated trails. Best thing to do is use Avenza with the offline basemap downloaded and the USFS road use maps for the area.

Appreciate that! About 3 weeks from the drive out, staying down in Palisades as the home base.

I'll check out your videos!
