Rat snakes are the badass little bitches of the woods.
They eat anything that moves, birds, chipmunks, squirrels, and keep copperheads off of your property.
We have them, and black snakes around our house.
She's not crazy about them, but I've never seen a copperhead or timber rattlesnake around here.
Black snakes are pretty docile.
Rat snakes, not so much.
Had em get in the coop and they rattle that tail like a rattlesnake. Looked like they were beefing over a dead squirrel, it was in about the first 8 pics, then it disappeared. Wonder if the fox's mate snagged it.
