Wright's DNF in moto 1 was because he ran out of fuel and that's why he made a pit stop in moto 2.

Leading by over 20 seconds only to DNF because he ran out of fuel... On lap 12 of 17.

GDR needs to do better.

They really, really do. It's been a terrible year for all concerned.

Here's the crazy bit though- Mathing it out here, the previously mentioned RX tank might not actually be big enough to last out a moto with D. Wright at the helm. He'd probably run that one dry on lap 16. Gotta be some kind of maniac with the loud handle, holy crap...

The last time two foreigners won the championships was 2013.

250: Austin Politelli

450: Brett Metcalfe

The last time two Americans won the championships was 2012.

250: Teddy Maier

450: Matt Goerke

Is the rivalry between Pettis and Wright the main reason that Wright isn't doing the MXoN?

I suppose this means that Phil also topples Villopoto as the best retired racer ever.

It's insane that GDR ran out of fuel 3 times in 8 races. Like, clinically insane.

That is the best handling I’ve ever seen from Dylan’s bike. GDR certainly made some changes during his break. At the earlier rounds, his bike looked horrible and you could see how much he was fighting the motorcycle. He had some ridiculously bad luck on reliability but he looks so much more comfortable in those brief clips.

No suspension stickers at Walton, word is he got some stuff built from another tuner during his time off.

What would Nicoletti's number be if he raced the 250 class?

I don't know why he doesn't have a regular number and only the number 1. I'm guessing they didn't think of it or he's already let them know that he's not coming back for multiple years, only needing the number 1 if he comes back next year.

Still, he should have a two/triple digit career number listed since he won the championship.

Dylan Wright is in for Budds Creek.

He'll be number 533.

Just seen that on his Instagram! Hopefully HRC can help him with his fuel problem 😂
