San Manuel still L&M Yam. title sponsor in 2011?

I am trying to find out 100%, no guessing, if San Manuel will still be the official title sponsor of the L&M Yamaha SX team in 2011. I know Brooks, Guy B, Matthes, etc are on here and I need an answer from someone who really knows. We are looking at making an expensive purchasing decision for the shop and need to know if JS7 and Regals bikes are going to have the big San Manuel logo across the shrouds again this year...Random, I know.

If a lot is riding on the decision then I would suggest waiting for the official press release. End

They might not even be on Yamaha's - I'd suggest waiting

I'm pretty sure I read last year it was a multi year deal with san manuel.

Just wait until you hear that js7 has bought out Brooks half of L & M. Maybe even then L&M wont be correct. I would wait if any money is on the line.

From past hostory both LB and JS have been very aloof when it comes to announcing future plans....... I would wait for the official press release, hope your plan is not time sensitive.

Regal looks very good on blue now... I'm 99% sure they will still be on Yamaha's with San Manuel as the title sponsor, but if I order a few grand of '10 'San Manuel' branded product and they pull some new title sponsor out for 2011, ain't nobody gonna buy the closeout '10 stuff if it doesn't look a thing like what bubba is running in SX this year. Thats just how it is, hence the concern for a real answer. Thanks for the interest though guys!

brooks doesnt own any part of the team...hes the L because hes the team manager that feeds off the public and the M doesn't want anything to do with the media

The Regal press release stated ...


Soon-to-be AMA #30 Kyle Regal has accepted an offer to ride as James Stewart's teammate on the San Manuel Yamaha team. Racer X confirmed with team co-owner Larry Brooks. In fact, Regal is headed out to California to sign and begin testing. Regal, fresh off of a great showing at the Red Bull Motocross of Nations, emerged from a tryout that included several other young riders. There was also long talks with Andrew Short, but he ultimately ended up with Red Bull KTM factory ride.


With that said....I would assume he has been testing on a L&M Yamaha.
