What makes you guys think that DMG hasn't asked Ricahard Childress Racing to jump in? After all his organization is the model for professional motorcycle racing...

So if Yamaha wanted JGR to have a team, wouldn't it have already have happened before this year?

Seriously, Scott, you are being an idiot.

For all you know, Kawasaki has been begging Mitch to field a team, and he just hasn't found the big money sponsor to make it happen.

Pro Circuit is not a competitor of Kawasaki. They are at the same level (although a higher stage at this point in the industry) as JGR is, they are fielding a team for a manufacturer. And that team competes with Team Yamaha. So does the L&M team, and so did Larocco and Windham when Honda was supplying works bikes for them.

Stop while you look silly, you will only look sillier if you keep it up.

Like I said, Kawie pays the riders, not Procircuit. That happens with all of the factory backed satellite teams.. Who do you think pays JLaws salary? Yamaha of Troy? Lol ya right

I could of swore this topic started out with him talking about Bubba going to Joe Gibbs. I am sure that's what Davey Coombs said. on the broadcast. That's what I was thinking was Bubba to Joe Gibbs not Villopoto. Did you change the name on the original topic? I'm pretty sure he was talking about Bubba and not Villopoto.

Scott, no one said that PC was at the same level as KHI. KHI is a manufacturer, PC isn't.

You shouldn't get into it any more than that, because you are already talking about shit you haven't a clue about.

I don't "think" that JGR and L&M are running 450 teams, they are running 450 teams! And Yamaha is supplying them with "works" parts.

Are you really dumb enough to believe that if Payton wanted to run a 450 team and could find the money out there for it, that Kawasaki would dump him? Hell no, they'd give him the equipment much like Yamaha does with JGR and L&M, or how Honda did for Larocco and Windham.

Money for big factory salaries is getting tight fast.

It's a very bad time to be knocking on a factory's door or trying to stay at the same pay rate if you are already there.

"Currently Pro Circuit can not operate a 450 team if they want KHI's continued help. Sure, they can manufacture parts, etc but they can't operate a team at this current time."

Not true.

They were about to start a 450 team 2 summers ago and just backed it down. If they had the funds and desire, they could do it.

No, what you said was this:

Also, if Pro Circuit started a 450 team KHI would probably pull there large box of goodies and supplies away from them.

and this:

"Currently Pro Circuit can not operate a 450 team if they want KHI's continued help. Sure, they can manufacture parts, etc but they can't operate a team at this current time."

Your statements indicate that Kawasaki would be unwilling to support Pro circuit's 450 effort, and this was not the case. It was financial decision by Mitch , if I remember the MXA article correctly. In any event, Pro circuit had a bike built, so it was not a support issue.

Just this once, admit you're wrong. People will admire you for it.

"You really think KHI wants RV beating Stewart on a Pro Circuit 450?"

how is that any different than Reed vs. Hill, or KW vs Millsaps

You said because of KHI, which doesn't appear to be accurate.

As for RV beating Stewart, it's no different than Reed beating Langston.

Kawasaki would love to have the top guy on green, period.

Payton just doesn't have anyone to underwrite the cost of the team.

So you were behind closed doors and heard someone from KHI tell Payton that if he wanted to have a 450 team then he would lose his 250 support?

That's bullshit and you know it. Every manufacturer would be lined up to have Mitch use their machines as his starting point.

Now you're just being a dumbass.

Yes, you did.....

"if they want his CONTINUED SUPPORT".

Currently he is getting support for the 250 class.

That quote of yours doesn't jive with your revision that you didn't say they would cut support for their 250 team, Scooter.

Face it, you are out of your league discussing real issues. You post before you think, then can't dig your way out of your illogical hole.

You can't supply "proof" simply because you have none. You made a silly, factless statement and got call out on it.

If Mitch had a title sponsor to underwrite the cost of the 450 team, he'd most probably have 5 manufacturers lined up who would like to supply him with equipment for both of his teams. Both of them.
