Oh yeah and then there's that to. If you just focus on what I posted on page 1 of this thread and do everything in your power to ignor the stuff englishman posted (which is 100% true) you'll have a blast. My friends and I actually find all the jackasses englishman talks about rather humorous and get good laughs out of predicting stuff like, who will fight who by the end of the night. I love listening to the punk in front of me telling his girl he would of qualified for this race in 2009 if it wasn't for breaking his collarbone over a 120 ft quad trying to pass Jeremy McGrath for the lead at the Montana state fair.

there are way too many races in california as it is.
Its because Cali is the BEST!
Earthquakes, fires, high taxes, high cost of living, bankrupt government, rolling electricity brown outs, gangs, illegals, politically correct, San Fransisco. Yep, its the best alright.. .Not. Has nice weather and beached and great motocross though. Nice place to visit, wouldn't want to live there.

A1 is good, Vegas is good. You should try to make an A1, pretty spectacular, they do a great job.

That's why we BBQ dinner and drink beer in the parking lot between qualifying and the races.

A family of four could spend a month's grocery budget and a good chunk of the mortgage on food and beverages if they depended on the vendors keep them full and happy.

If you are coming that far go to A1 and Phoenix. Phoenix is always the the pick me up race.. sometimes it rains at A1 or someone gets taken out. Phoenix is always action packed because something usually happens at Phoenix as a follow-up to A1. We have a roof so weather is never an issue. But agree A1 is a spectacular race to go to.

Its pretty simple why they moved the San Fran race to Oakland. They have sold out San Fran every year so it makes more since to move right down the road to a stadium that holds 20,000 more people and make more money.
