We (this goes for our international members as well) would see a far better return on investment if we focused our critique on the structural institutions of government that allow individuals to gain such positions of power, rather then concentrating so much on particular individuals. It is like missing the forest for the trees.

Even if all of these individuals were convicted and sentenced it wouldn't change a thing fundamentally. More/other equally corrupt individuals would simply take their place. We need to fight back against the fact that there is even a platform for individuals to exist and exercise such perverse authority.

We need to attack the fundamental framework and organizations that shape how power is distributed and exercised within our political system worldwide.

Stop caring about WHO and start thinking about WHY, HOW, and for WHAT reasons!

So, getting past all the pecker-measuring going on in here, and back to the topic.

I think it’s funny that there has been more money spent on investigating and searching for dirt on Trump than anyone in the history of the world, and the Dems had control of this info for four years, and some people still think Trump is on some list besides just riding on JE’s plane.

I think he’s doing a great job for our country, but  I’ve always thought he was kind of a buffoon, but his buffoonery has calmed a bit since the shooting.

And someone in this thread or another mentioned that elections now are just choosing the lesser of two evils. I think that’s been the norm for a long time. It’s just getting more  extreme.

With all the crap the media puts candidates through, I’ve always thought that anyone dumb enough to run for President, isn’t smart enough to be the President.

Edit: the last paragraph doesn’t mean I think they shouldn’t be vetted, just that it should be done honestly. But I know that probably won’t happen.

one of my favorite podcast hosts (PFT) has a theory or idea that every president should go directly to jail after serving their term.  I don't hate that idea.

The sitting POTUS sent his own personal lawyer to meet with Maxwell. Unheard of. He did this immediately after news broke he’s in the files. Why would he do that? How much more evidence do you MAGA people need to see to understand you’re supporting a massive piece of shit? If he pardons Maxwell, will you still support him?

So, the DAG shouldn’t have met with Maxwell according to our resident TDS sufferer…?🤪

I find it very interesting that their hero, Biden, didn’t do a damn thing about all this…but, now…now…they are jacking off to CNN about it. That’s very telling of how these “TV News Controlled” monkeys think.

Priceless entertainment.

if roles were reversed and it was Biden and the DOJ meeting with GM you would be up in arms about corruption and nothing that comes out of that meeting can be trusted..

You should be more than capable of answering that for yourself.

Coming from the lot of you that continually show your ignorance for history and the obvious need to follow your poor choices down the rabbit hole…well…it’s like this…

Your negative opinions of the few of us that don’t go along with your intellectually suicidal narrative following mantra comes across as quite…

Complimentary.

So…uh…thanks!

It’s hard to deny that Blanche being a former lawyer of his isn’t fishy but don’t they all appoint people they’ve worked with previously? Why wouldn’t you appoint people you trust? It’s not a good look but I can’t say I wouldn’t do the same. At this point I just have zero trust in any level of government on any issue. They’ve never given me a reason to trust them. Regardless of who’s in the big house it seems like they’re always busier than a cat covering shit.

Ah nice 👍. Well placed reference to scripture.

I will somewhat reference Matthew 7:12 in response and say that is a pretty pessimistic outlook and one that has IMO been carefully crafted to corrupt and mindfully obscure the true meaning behind the teachings of Jesus by the very same institutions which I spoke of in the post of mine that you have earlier quoted.

I believe in heaven on earth. That heaven is attainable and here for all people right now if we choose it and are willing to abide by The Golden Rule.

Though we must first acknowledge the true meaning of the Golden Rule and understand that the others it speaks of, and advises us on how we treat, is applicable to more then just humans. We must grant humanity to all of existence to understand it properly.

If we accept that The Golden Rule is applicable to all of existence, both here on earth and to Nature beyond. If we accept that there is LIFE in far more then what we commonly accept as LIVING. If we accept that energy is life and that energy is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. It is then that we begin to understand the true meaning of The Golden Rule!

They have taken language from a tool used in pursuit of knowledge and turned it into a weapon that has become a barrier against our understanding.

It is seriously ethically questionable for the president to put someone who has been a personal attorney in the position of dealing with a matter that could potentially affect his former client, who also happens to be in a position of authority over him. There’s a whole host of conflict of interest, confidentiality, and impartiality concerns that can arise. As far as ethics issues go, this is an easy one.

Generally, yes, sending the deputy AG makes sense. Generally, appointing people who you know and trust makes sense. But when independence issues arise in a particular situation, recusal would be appropriate.

In my work in accounting, we conduct extensive independence assessments before we do any assurance work for a client. The legal profession is at least as stringent. These rules aim to reduce the risk of impropriety, conflict of interest, or bias - real or perceived. So yes, it is reasonable to point out that Trump’s prior attorney-client relationship with Blanche raises ethical concerns given that Blanche is dealing with a matter that potentially directly affects Trump. I don’t think it’s risen to the level of an egregious violation or anything approaching a crime. But it’s putting Blanche in a dubious position. I’m sure Blanche knows that. I don’t know that Trump knows or cares. In fact, this seems like exactly the kind of situation where he demands loyalty. From an ethics perspective, it’s a pretty bad look.

You think that the Daniel 2:44 is pessimistic? Isn’t the Kingdom at Daniel 2:44 the same one that Jesus at  Matthew 6:9-10 mentions in the model prayer? Daniel 2:44 is far from pessimistic , it’s actually needed and is actually inline with the theme of the Bible …. The Kingdom.

Dearest Kenny B,

There’s some absolution, here about The Sogster.

He’s obviously had no reflection on The Mob that actually IS making the world burn down…whilst calling it..

“Mostly Peaceful”

And, another simple fact of reality…for Soggy…

When I catch nothing but pseudo-self-righteous judgmental negative shit from someone? Well, I think that’s all that needs to be said.😃

Back to “I think you just like to watch the world burn.”…wow. Who…WHO THE FUCK set the stage for this…”world burning”…?

Who the fuck was in downtown L.A. LITERALLY BURNING SHIT DOWN?!!!

Who the fuck was in downtown Minneapolis BURNING IT DOWN?!!!

Who the fuck was in downtown Seattle tearing it down and killing people in the surrounding neighborhoods?!!!

Well? WHO?

All the while YOU didn’t say a fucking thing as you stood by and watched your leaders call it “Summer of Love” & “Mostly Peaceful” & you sat on your hands as the world actually did burn down…

Then, in all your ignorance, you tell me that I…me…

“I think you just like to watch the world burn.”

This entire time, I’ve wanted actual justice brought on these city destroying and citizen murdering pieces of shit…yet, you…Mr. Go Along With What The Followers Say…YOU…throw that at me?

All theatrics and shit throwing aside? Thanks! That shit is fucking FUNNY! 😂

Good point… I would say it’s only pessimistic depending on how you’re interpreting it. If you believe the kingdom of heaven to be available and attainable in this life and on earth then it’s very much an optimistic belief. This is what I believe to be the proper interpretation.

However if you believe (I don’t pretend to know what you personally believe) what is commonly believed in modern Christianity, that heaven is somewhere else, somewhere not here and may (or may not) be achieved after the passing of this life. Then yes, I would say that’s a pessimistic outlook. But like I said, I do not think that’s how Jesus meant it.

language has so much to do with shaping our perception of the world and therefore the way we act and react. In that one verse the most simple difference in interpretation can completely change one’s attitude towards reality.

I’m no biblical scholar but it does seem to me that much of what the Bible contains is a conglomeration of universal human truths but they can only be properly embraced and integrated if it is understood that Heaven is a place on earth.

The Bibie reference is interesting, I’m just too lazy to look it up or read it all. Pretty sure there’s significant impact of what’s going on.

It’s neither partisan nor stupid to point out the ethical concerns raised by circumstances given Trump’s prior attorney -client relationship with the Deputy AG.

Jesus is something of a Rorschach ink blot - people see what they are motivated to see. That’s why socialists think Jesus was a socialist, etc. Your take on this message is one that I’m happy to see people adopt because it’s life affirming and wants to see high ideals realized now. Hard to not like ideas that want to make the world better - whatever my view on the underlying texts.

That’s actually pretty damn funny, when your side has  literally been burning everything down from cars, car dealerships, businesses, and parts of cities.

News flash. Just because I criticize trump doesn’t mean I’m on the other side.

They can be exclusive of each other.

No one should be happy with either side right now imo.

I believe like how it is actually written in Daniel 2:44. I believe that there will be a heavenly government set up that will rule over its subjects living on the earth. So I think that we are agreeing to a certain degree. There are just to many scriptures ( if you believe in what the bible says) for me not to believe that man will live on the earth….. here are just a few…. Isaiah 65:17 , Isaiah 45:18 , Psalms 37:29 , Psalms 115:16 , Psalms 37:10-11 , Revelation 21:1 , Matthew 5:5 , Proverbs 2:21. Anyway , nice conversation I enjoyed it. Thanks

No no. You don’t get it. If you have correctly determined that the current POTUS is a massive piece of shit, a criminal, and sex offender, that must then mean, according to MAGA here, you support men in women’s sports and want a socialist country.
