I genuinely believe that if Prado sticks this out it will be worth it in the long term. Thats even regardless of if he ever becomes a champion in the us or not. I personally believe if he sticks it out he will have the skill level to battle for wins and podiums, but even if that does not happen I think bigger picture this will still be a good thing.
Cianciarulo talks constantly about how all of the races and success are not what made him who he is today, but its coming back from injury and having to dig deep and make it out the other side that has made him a better person. I agree with JT that if prado were to bail back to MXGP after this year he would regret it for the rest of his life. He needs to stick out his contract and show himself that regardless of how it turns out he finished what he started and gave it his best effort. Then if after the contract is up if he still wants to go back to MXGP thats fine, but you gotta finish what you started.
Prado has had enormous success his entire life. He was so good at riding when he was a kid that moto gp teams were trying to convince him to change sports and become a moto gp racer. Then when he got to the pros in mx he was up front almost immediately battling with herlings. I dont know his entire life story day by day, but this is probably one of the hardest things hes had to deal with.
It sucks, it blows, its depressing, its miserable, and thats ok. If he sticks with it he has the skill to get back to the top. If he had just come over and won everything immediately yea that would have been cool, but it would have just been business as usual. If instead he comes over and is getting smoked by privateers his first year and is in absolute hell how much stronger is he going to be if he turns that around and climbs from the bottom all the way back up to the top? People in his shoes get used to winning, but you can bet your ass hed kill to get a win now. If he sticks this out and climbs all the way back up to the top its going to be a life lesson that money couldnt buy and winning will feel better than it ever has. Ask hunter lawrence how good it feels now. How much better was JMarts last win after everything hes been through to get there? You need the lows to make the highs better when you get there. Stick with it Jorge, youll get there, in life the journey is the most important part.

I agree with everything you said......he need to take responsibility and stop blaming the team and/or the bike. Hoping that he and Chase crush it next year.
I’m betting his results tomorrow will be much, much improved now that the previous alpha dog on the team is gone for good. These riders are delicate little flowers, after all…
What happens when Chase pits next to him?
I'd love to see him figure it out and show us what he's got.
The Shop

I have a feeling they'll be bros, just like Chase and Kenny, or with Plessinger now.
I hope he does. Mostly because I think he's had the best kits this season and want to see that setup out front 😂
Prados got about 6 races of Kawi going all in on him apparently.
Stay the course.
Dude was teammates with first Herlings then Cairoli for years.
Didn’t ktm put him with DeCarli because Herlings and Prado didnt work well under the same KTM tent?
Idk but I remember cairoli and him weren't the biggest fans of each other at decarli
That’s what I remember too, at least once Prado went to the 450 class then that’s when they started having some issues. He may have cross jumped Tony or something and that’s what started it with them if I remember correctly. I would think Prado would be more pumped on having Anderson as a teammate over Chase.
I'm just waiting fot Unadilla to make my final judgement.
I doubt Chase sees him as any kind of threat to him. In sx, at least. Maybe he'll help him come along on the sx track and they sort out the Kawi together
