Has anyone used the HONDALOCK blue label (low strength), orange label (medium),
red label (HT High Temp medium) or green label (high strength)?
Seems a better value than all the aforementioned as you get approx 0.34 fl oz or 10 cc with Hondalock. Most others are 6 mL which is = to 6 cc. And although less in volume, those other brands cost more money than Hondalock.
FYI mL is always the same as cc. Relevant b/c the others use mL as their unit of measurement.
I doubt Honda actually make this, like their sealants
( which I think are made by threebond ?)
So if they choose to sell at a cheaper price than others, then I would use it .
Over the years I have used most brands and never noticed any difference in performance
I’ve used the red label a few times, seems fine. I like their bottles as they are just like a bottle of eye drops, making it easier to put a small amount on the threads.
Used it for years, never had an issue. I second the bottles as well, so easy to use.
I would agree with you, I would be very surprised if it isn't just another brand white-labeled and dyed a different color.
Post a reply to: HONDALOCK: Anyone use THIS in lieu of Loctite, JB Weld Permalock, or Permatex Threadlocker?
