If I could get paid double for what I do, or do half the work for the same money, I couldn't wait to sign on the line... honest truth... I also think you guys try really hard to do the best for each other, your sponsors etc...

Are you really telling me that reading that twitter comment I pasted above you don't think it either reads like he was being sarcastic and whiny, or that it may be perceived as so?!?!

I've heard/read interviews and podcasts, I think Matthes has said that you guys feel you are dammed if you do or dammed if you don't with the PR when James goes out etc...

Yeah, there are always gonna be haters, but that comment above is fuel to the fire, surely you can see that?

LB, I have no problem with you and James being supercross only. Why, however, does James think he should get a shot at the mxdn? He doesn't race motocross anymore. Sometimes JS7 comes off as having a sense of entitlement.

LB.....why do you guys still have the red #1 plate on his bike that you have on display up at the MXoN? Maybe you guys should get over yourselves and put the good ol'e #7 back on and be respectful to the current sitting MX and SX champion.... sometimes I think you both just don’t get it, my father always gave me sound advice to "always be big in little things!"

From what I understood JS can put #1 plate up until Anaheim 1. Then it`s Dungey`s number.

LB...thanks for your input. It's good to hear things from the "horse's mouth" so to speak. I understand your expression of frustration about damned if you do, damned if you don't. I think we could agree that there are people (fans) that will support James no matter what he does and conversely there are those that will spew hate no matter what he does. In reality those two groups cancel each other out because their attitudes cannot be changed. There is another group, which I consider myself to be a part of...Fans of the sport. I love motocross. I accept SX for what it is...a way for the industry to support itself during the winter months. I don't dismiss the effort and skillset required to compete in SX...but I also don't believe that simply because SX brings in more income that it has replaced MX as the "core" of the sport. Your team has decided to race SX exclusively...there is absolutely nothing wrong with that....it's your team, your money, your choice. For the "fans of the sport" that does however present a dilemna...should a member of your team be considered to represent the country at the MOTOCROSS of Nations? "Fans of the sport" want to see the best in the world go head to head and James is undeniable one of, if not, the best...but everyone else out there earned the right by racing a grueling, and unprofitable outdoor season. Again...thanks for coming on the board and giving your side...but this is my side and I don't think I'm alone.

If JT had been left off the team, wrote a public letter saying how he feels he was straight up lied too, then tweeted this comment, then yes, I would write it up...

I'll write up anything that I think is worth writing about, i'm a fan, and also a fan of James... So your theory doesn't hold there...

But liking him doesn't mean I have to agree with everything he or anyone says... I'm simply saying that surely it's not hard to see where these sorts of comments reoccur and don't help his or LB's image...

Yet another example of James', "me against ther world" mentality. It's gotten really old now. I used to love "Bubba", the fun-loving kid that always had a smile on his face, and just wanted to race. Now he just seems angry, always with some axe to grind. Hopefully, "Bubba" will come back from the "dark side of the force" one day and understand that the world is not out to get him.

I already had the audacity to defend James in another "James Bashing" thread here and was attacked myself. The same assholes in that thread are the same one's here. I know that sounds harsh calling them assholes, but it's true. James doesn't have to ride the outdoors, race GP's, or do anything else he doesn't want to appease some message board idiots. None of those people attacking James are true moto fans; if they were they would not be bashing him. It's like I said in the other thread, they are wussies, none of whom would have the balls to say shit to these riders apart from the anonymity of their keyboards. Their only courage is in their cowardice.
