Been in Charlotte just over a year now, finally got a bike and am looking to do some testing / set up. I'm an enduro guy mostly. Just looking for turn track with some bumps to help dial it in. Is Club my best option (sand / GP track)? Anybody got any suggestions?
There are some great options but hard to find if you arent familiar with everything locally yet, ill list you out some good stuff and let me know if you need anymore info. There is also an absolute ton of off-road racing around here so if you want to ride new stuff regularly that's an option as well you can take it as serious as you want or just treat it like a trail ride.
Most of these are probably 1.5-2 hours away for you.
Lost Valley Offroad park - 8ish mile harescramble loop some good hills and variety, they also have a few turn tracks that can be good if they have been worked recently but usually sort of rough otherwise great plate, check facebook he only opens if its not muddy.
The Beech MX/Offroad park - Big moto track, GP track and GNCC/enduro loop check Instagram and facebook only open certain weekends reserve a spot limited available.
Masters Motoplex - Very nice big track, couple turn tracks and doubletrack woods loop and killer singletrack if you know how to find it, check Facebook for open weekends.
Enoree OHV park - Great flowy trails like a turn hard pack turn track in the woods, have a call before you haul line they close if its wet
Few other places like Brushy mountain, Brown Mountain OHV for more technical rocky stuff.
Awesome thanks! Will definitely be looking to race once I'm comfortable.
I sure do miss Barbara RIP and riding at TNT.
Carolina Adventure World would be a option for riding

What happened to Chad Reeds track in Statesville ?
Closed and sold. Drove by yesterday looks like some activity with trees/stumps company operating out of there. Rumor was new owner might open a portion for riding, but that was a couple of years ago.
Reopening is what I was hoping for
I got some info about possibly riding there, I will DM you
There is still a track there that is still open sometimes depending on the weather. Farm40 on instagram is how you can tell if they will be open or not. The new owner does have a brush dump on site and thats most of the activity that you see on the property.
