Pumped to follow this build Derick! I don't understand how people just neglect their bikes like that. At least cover it up! Nice find on the PC link, I had one for my build but took it off and sold it to a buddy before I sold the bike.

I have some 2002 07 CR250 parts
plus i have the long canadian silencer
(adds hp to mid/ top end) that is why i saved it!
I rode/ raced these models for years
the 02 needs the longest silencer you
can get to increase the hp
plus a rad valve

Sorry to those following the build. Life has been crazy with work lately plus I have some medical things I need to get figured out with my migraines. I’m really hoping to atleast get the engine together and in the frame along with the suspension on by the end of September. Thank you for your patience!

Wanted to give those who've been following this an update. Unfortunately with work I've been busy as all hell, plus I've been helping my brother as of late at his work as well. I sold the CR250 I posted on here and I just picked up a 2007 CR125 for super cheap. I'm seriously hoping to have this bike done this year. I apologize to those who've been wondering, I've just been crazy busy. I will update once I get some progress done and start my CR125 thread once I start with that.

I’m sorry for all those following! I’ve been super busy this Summer honestly and life has taken over; for the good though. I got a promotion at work and have been super busy, I will be traveling until Friday. Once I get home I will post pictures where I’m at and update you all thank you for being patient!

First off thank you everyone who’s been interested in the build!

 

I have not made much progress on the KX in sometime. Everytime I go to work on it I either got something else going on or purchase a bike because it was too good of a price to pass up. The bottom end is nearly together. I have to replace a couple small bearings for the PV governor and water pump items. As for right now, I do plan on finishing it before the end of next year, I just want to do everything right and with a purpose. I’m helping my dad rebuild his 03 CR250 sometime soon.

 

I picked up a mostly original CR125 2007, and I just got back today I picked up a 2020 KTM125sx. Ever since I was 17 I always wanted one but I could never afford it, I had aluminum frame YZ125’s that I bought second hand that’s all I raced when I was in high school and such, I always dreamed of owning one.
