I don’t get it. Why does the scoring pylon depict Malcolm Stewart as “M. Stewart”. There aren’t any other Stewart’s racing! I can understand using the first initial with the Lawrence brothers but WTF for Mookie.
I just noticed they do the same for “C. Cochran” when there’s only one Cochran.
No rhyme or reason.
I realize this is trivial but it sets off my OCD.
Because the AMA doesn’t know that Ronnie Stewart isn’t racing anymore.
Hell the AMA probobly doesnt know that James Stewart isnt racing anymore either, after all it is the AMA
Im sure the mud sticking to the underside of the fenders really stimulates the OCD.
I get it. I had to let that go many years ago. My dad is still that way.
A lot of Stewarts out there.
You got Rod, you got Payne and Marty. Then theres Tony.
Too many Stewarts and they have to separate em somehow.

Funny, I noticed it said R. Randanella on the scoring pylon on peacock today and thought the same thing, must be another Randanella out there. Not sure how or why they choose who gets a first initial.
Only reasonable explanation is that O&gdriller is part of the mxsports incident diversion team and posted this topic to "look, a squirrel!" Us and take our attention off other discussions, like the most important topic of the day, which is that the ama waited until jett had secured the oa before throwing the red flag.
Now that topic is diluted as some members divert their time to investigating why some riders only get recognized by their first initial and a lengthy surname, but somehow eli tomac always get his full name on the position pylon.
Another one of the conspiracies in our sport.
I hope cooksey is on it.
There’s two brothers that race actually so that one’s legit. The other ones are definitely baffling.
I'll complain when they start using Sr or Jr. It's stupid in other sports, I don't want to see it on Moto!
Dont forget Martha
Speaking of the scoring pilon, did my eyes deceive me or did they switch to a big (split screen) box with the running order scrolling along the top of it?
Good job NBC, finally!
Marty is a "Stuart".
