idk 'who' but im always fascinated by stuff like "oh, remember eli tomac's 2012 bike? it was sold for a guy from jersey who sold to this fella here from california, who still races it in his local track".  Or idk, "roczen's mx2 title bike is in this place". Stuff like that. 
Its common in "car" sports, not sure how that works in the bike (racing) industry. Normally in europe you see rally - rallycross- autocross champion cars being raced in national championships by privateers even decades after.

I've been working on one for years. It's not about my life, but rather a friend's experience in Baja. He was prerunning the Baja 1000 and got shot by a rancher or cartel guy (we don't know which). It's a crazy story and he lived to tell about it. I'll be sure to post up in here when it's ready for publication.
