I believe the guy who started the thread started it in Non-Moto.

The first one was started in Moto-Related, and someone moved it to the Dumbgeon. Seeing the first one was moved to the Dumbgeon, I followed the lead and moved the other two in there.

So anything hateful or well I guess more ignorant than usual in the moto threads?

Grow the sport right? A blind man coulda saw this shit coming.

Companies get tax breaks and/or benefits by Social scoring with the rating agencies Moodys, Fitch etc for running this Social Engineering Agenda rubbish. DEI racks up the scoring goodies as well.
Great to see people push back on it.

It is good to have a month to recognise the members of the motocross community that ride Suzukis.

See… you ended on “so far”. Honda/kawi owner wouldn’t have.

It would've went over a lot better with the GP fans.

NBC needs to keep this shit to themselves. The moto community doesn't need to bow down and "accept" the alphabet community. Not sorry, but the gays don't give af about moto, its "too masculine". And sexual orientation has NOTHING to do with moto. And last time I checked this sport is one of the most family oriented sports out there. Normal families with a MOM and DAD with kids. Shoving this shit on the wrong crowd will not end well for everyone involved in posting that.

Make no mistake, there are plenty of us that are sick to the back teeth of this bullshit as well. Regardless of what that Suzuki riding Belgian says.

I don't see what all the VitalMX disconcertion is all about, this subject is number 90 on the list I have any concerns about.

With that being said, I do not think we should have any "insert name here" months.

Thank you

Luke

As long as I do not see a dude sign up for the WMX class I really don't care.

1. “Too masculine” is funny. Do you not think there are masculine gay men? Do you know how fit gay guys are? Do you know how good they are at being dads? Do you know how many run enormous businesses? Whatever you think masculine is, I promise there are gay men who fit the definition. Masculinity is not the reason gay men aren’t flocking to motocross.

2. You all forget about lesbians. Do you know what kind of girls play sports after Little League? I’m not saying all women who play sports are gay, but there’s a serious skew in that direction once you get to college and the pros. Same for motocross.

3. What makes motocross “one of the most family oriented sports”?

What year did you start attending races?

I started in 1977.

t's mostly straight families at the races.

Never once have i seen a gay couple roll up in the pits and unload their kids bike to race. I have been to thousands of races.

The sport is a core family sport.

The geniuses at Feld trying to market "Gay Pride" to straight families is silly.

It's like trying to Market Bacon to Muslims.  Most don't want anything to do with it.

That's the whole topic of discussion. Not gay rights or it's an illness and all the other gay bashing dumb shit you want to whine about.

What makes being gay not “family oriented”?

Plenty of gay men and gay women live lives very similar to that of a monogamous straight couple. Sexual preference doesn’t determine your masculinity. Plenty of gay guys could kick your ass easily.

I can almost guarantee half of WMX riders are lesbians

There’s nothing wrong with being gay. The fact that there’s so much outrage over a single Instagram posts proves that the real snowflakes are all the conservatives having a moral panic in a sport full of scantily clad women, profanity, drug abuse, etc. but suddenly family values are at risk when a company recognizes that they may have gay people who enjoy the sport and welcome them with open arms like NORMAL PEOPLE

You miss the whole point.  "Straight Families".

I have never seen a gay family at the races watching their kid race - like I said.

Please show me how big they are in this sport.  Show me  one gay couple rolling up at your local races there Davey Crockett. ...

It's not what the majority of the sport is. It's a fact. That is the point of this discussion. Not trying to make a case by calling WMX racers Les.

My personal opinion on gay or bi folks - I dont have a problem with them. To each is own.

However, if I were to write an article of what most of the demographics of this sport is  Gay folks wouldnt even be a grain of sand in that ratio.

Right, because the environment is not welcoming to these hypothetical gay motocross families, and never has been. Not because it’s a thing gay people naturally wouldn’t enjoy participating in.

You say “core family” and I hear “white conservative.” The adult you’re talking to right now loved motocross as a kid, spent a lot of time at the track, and felt extremely alienated all the time. Today I don’t go because I do not feel comfortable or welcome there. Honestly I wish I didn’t love the sport as much as I do, and this forum has a lot to do with that.

Feld is not trying to “market gay pride to straight families.” They are trying to tell gay people that they are welcome here and the entire digital fan base responded with “no they are not!”

Cry me a river.   Guess what it's a core family sport with the majority being straight families. You can whine all you want but that ain't ever gonna change.

But it doesn’t hurt straight families at all to say “hey gay people are welcome here”

That’s all the post is doing. There might only be a .01% of riders who are gay, but I’m sure when they see a post like that it really means a lot to them, especially after seeing all of the vitriol and bitterness to them. There’s probably riders who are gay or bi but would never come out knowing this is how so many people in the community feel about them. It’s not about forcing an agenda down anyone’s throat, it’s just about telling a group that they’re welcome.

It’s a family sport, and I think families of all kind should be welcome

Eli Tomac’s brother is gay for Christ sakes, man

People being gay and the sport welcoming gay people in isn’t going to hurt you or affect your family at all.

Grow up

It is good to have a month to recognise the members of the motocross community that ride Suzukis.

King George for the win! 😂(are you sneaking over to the Isle this week?)

Also, with all the silly intent and mis-direction some might wanna throw at this…as if that’s needed…simply gonna say…

I’ll roll with RV1 on this. Oh, and Webb…uh, well, and J Cooper…huh, Yamaha orders seem to get it? 🤔

The point that needs to be made:

To all my friends involved with running SMX, you are trying way too damn hard to be relevant and they’re are soooo many ways that you’re “doing it wrong”. While I am proud of you and what you’ve accomplished, you really need to take a step back…take a moment…and be much more aware of who cares about what…and when…and why.

All of us…we are just a bunch regular peeps enjoying racing. That’s all. Leave that other shit outside the gate. Please.

Manny

Oh, so this is you coming back again then?

Do you plan to do anything differently this time around so you don't get banned and have to go through the trouble of creating yet another account?

Doesn't seem like you're off to a very good start.
