My buddy can't make it to the race so I have a reservation for a second room with 2 queens for $199 a night, (3 nights, Fri-Mon) at the Comfort Suites (3.8 miles from the track) that I can't use. Let me know if you're interested in taking the room from me.

OUCH! I'm staying at same hotel in a 2 queen bed suite with a pullout couch for $282 for three nights. That's with the AMA 15% discount, booked in January of this year. $94 bucks a night, split 3 ways, $31 and change each per night. Can't beat that with a stick.

I got a room at a 4 Star Resort with a little drive for $89.00 and they are out there cheaper than that a few miles away.

So, I booked the room back in December and forgot to rebook it at a lower rate. Give me a break... Smile The hotel itself isn't crappy, at all. There are some Euro teams staying there.

I just booked my trip on expedia for hotel, air, car for less than that. Not to bust you, but it's high no matter how you look at it. But I'm staying near downtown and not near the track so I'm sure the rates are going to be much cheaper away from the track at this point as well.

Do you have any idea how the vip parking thing works? I bought 2 vip tickets, but there is no information on the site about vip parking.

If it's set up like Italy was last year, there will be a VIP entrance for us. Just have your VIP tixs in hand and follow the signs. I'll be making a recon trip to the track on Friday, to get a lay of the land. You may want to do the same.

Yeah..I'm at the downtown Denver Sheraton for 5 nights for $350..Seems a wee bit steep vooddooo.. This isn't the place for trying to make money on rooms you booked up.

That's what I booked them at, Dan. I'm not doing to try to make any money, I've given tickets and rooms away before on Mototalk...like a room for two nights to a couple of the traveling photohounds for a St. Louis SX race I had to miss out on, due to work. I offered to pay $50 a night for two rooms to the family that said they wanted them, once I found out the rooms are $149, as of today. I was doing it, since I actually thought there'd be a shortage of rooms close that close to the track.. with the 100's of thousands that will be in attendance Smile My bad, for thinking I'm trying to help a moto-bro out.
