Jett is phenomenal and you just don’t lose that speed.  He’ll make this season boring.

Keep watching.....many said this LY too and then he weeded himself.  He has never lost at Pala and Tomac for sure has something for him.  Hangtown should be great.  Seems like everyone else will likely be way off, but hoping Sexton is ok and can bring it too.

Jetts win was very emotional to him and on his part he was unsure that he was 100% ready for a hard charging Tomac who was physically more ready.

Jett is the real deal and unless he hits the ground hard he will improve week to week.

Can he mentally pull off another win all motos season?

Four former 450 mx champs on the line.... I think they said.

Ahh to be young. Jetts speed is nothing new but to be able to ride at it for 30 plus impressed me. Pala is to Jett what A1 was to MC...me thinks. He was pretty flawless even with some mistakes undrer pressure.

Eli will be a force, not a good track and it looked like he was building all day. That second moto even with a jumpy bike he closed that gap up a few times then it looked like made a decision to be smart?

I think he'll Tim Gasjer Jett a race or two this year...no doubt-

There is literally no more competition on the planet.
WHO is missing in your opinion?

I think I’ve stated my opinion several times. It’s really not a big deal that I see it differently than you or anyone else. Nothing to get fired up about.

Well mukka, your opinion is hugely disagreed with by the majority.
You’ll look a fool if you continue to say that in public.

IMG 3598 1.jpeg?VersionId=jJPW.PxuUbacmQx9wfJPZHvpSDeNot really concerned about it one way or another. It’s a moto board after all with differing opinions on a variety of topics. Seriously though, are you really concerned with what you might look like on a message board? I find that pretty funny.

When Tomac nearly passed him and he railed that corner he was giving his all.

When he needs to make up time like 3rd to 1st in one corner off the start is his flat out limit.

Rest of the time 85 - 90%.

When Tomac pressed him early on and he railed the outside standing after the rollers, he looked flat out. I know JS7 said something about it in the booth. I don't care if you hate the guy, he's setting the bar right now. I will never count Tomac out though, especially at a track the suits his all out riding style.

It is crazy the speed those 2 were going. Warp zone. Is it safe to say that one cannot go any faster?

You can say whatever you want…… the top 10 guys are all old with years of wear and tear. Yes …I’m saying it’s a weak field.

Or could Jett be so good that he made the strongest field in AMA history look weak?..

In 2023 we all had to hear that he just beat Chase and never had to race Eli.

Today he beat Eli with 15 seconds in the first moto and then broke ”beast mode” Eli in the second moto and gapped him with 12 seconds in the last laps. Meanwhile making the rest of the field looking like amateurs including the current two time MXGP champ…

Yeah, the field is weak…

Was the field deeper when Ricky was in his prime?

I am for sure not a Jett fan, but dang that dude is on another level. The pressure he had to endure from Tomac for an entire moto must’ve been crazy, and he didn’t crack a single time. As much as I wanted to see Chase beat him this summer, it’s for sure looking like a 2023 repeat in the works.

This reminded me of when he came back for SMX last year and battled with Tomac the first moto just to feel his body out. The second moto he hounded him down, blew his doors off and never looked back the rest of the SMX rounds.

If this is Jett shaking his cobwebs off, I don’t think that this summer will be as exciting as some people think it will be.

As some have stated here, Eli rode his heart out but waste to much energy doing so. And if you are gonna race against perfection on two wheels, you have to ride smarter and more efficient - not harder.
