Just saw that Nicholas Lapucci will be racing Pala this weekend on 450s. 2021 EMX250 champ, mostly contests the Italian Nationals now, but has done some MXGPs and ran up front for a while at Arco di Trento this year.
Excellent style too. Will be pitted with Bubba Pauli's ISRT Kawi team alongside Noren. Wouldn't be surprised if he finishes around 10.

Looks like Valentin Guillod is in SoCal too. Quite a few MXGP guys here, at least for the opening round. The Prado Effect perhaps.

It's cool seeing these European national riders try our series after becoming sort of GP exiles. Kinda like guys who didn't get an F1 opportunity coming to Indycar. I'd say this is the Jose Butron or Harri Kullas Effect

What a season it's shaping up to be. So much talent from so many countries. It's a great time to be a fan! Love Lapucci's style and think he could have bright flashes up near the top ten. Should be a pretty solid top 20 guy. I forget if he was a decent starter, but that could be fun to watch.
Yeah solid starter. Sounds like it’s open ended for him as far how many races he’ll do. Hope Pala goes well for Lapucci and Guillod and they decide to stick it out for more or all of the rounds.
