Mcglincy lane..... Cambell Ca. Remember them being there well. Spent sometime there with Bob Fox.
Damn…I’m getting old.
I remember when Fox was on McGlincy Lane…BOTH “Fox’s”…I remember when Fox gear was Yellow, Orange and Red and made by Yoko.
Our bikes were becoming water cooled(1980/1981)…Johnny’O was on an Al Baker “White Honda”(Mugen) we ran Metzelers, MC1 and a Number 9 from Togos on Campbell Ave…we had practice tracks on the beach bluff at Rio Del Mar and “The Quarry” in Scott’s Valley…at the end of Blossom Hills Rd/Coyote Creek…at the other quarry off of Capitol Expressway…in the hills of Almaden…inside of Quicksilver County Park…up on Hicks Road…up at the AFB on Mt. Umunhum…and, best of all, at friends houses off of Greystone Lane…damn…
It was a really good time to be a kid.
the beach bluff at Rio Del Mar.... Was it called "Cow mtn?" I think it was something like that... had the bowl shape with various parts of tracks criss crossing it.....

Different spot then... this was on the hill above some houses in Rio Del Mar. But.. yea... lots of cubby holes to ride at. "Stick's" too along the river in Watsonville, Pit 13 near Pajaro Dunes... etc. Sad it's not like that anymore. (
Wonder if I crossed paths with you during that time frame.
Right above the beach at the fields on the south end of town…where Seascape is now.
Rode with Rick Ryan and Dean Matson back then.
