Sounds like one of the biggest criticisms of Trump atm is that he should be harder on China with the tariffs. Kevin O’ Leary is one of those apparently that has been pretty vocal about China’s shady business.

Yea, Harris/Walz was a horrific ticket. But as a few have pointed out, there are those, you included, who appear to think it is sacrilege to dare question or speal ill of daddy. I get it, there is a lot to hate, cringe about the loony left, but are you all incapable of being critical of your own?

It's sad.

How about if I am just optimistic about the Trump administration? Must I be eager to to find fault with whoever is president?

Dude if you think this administration is going to be the first incarnation of government in the history of man to actually do right by the people, then I would say you are delusional not optimistic. If you actually believe that the government has your best interests in mind then I would say you’re delusional, not optimistic.

State power can not reduce State power. The government cannot be reformed. I have faith and optimism in people but not in government.

** just want to be clear that I am glad trump is in, not because I think he’s good or because I believe he’s there to do the right thing, but because I believe he’s the lesser of two evils which I remember being the most common sentiment around here last year during the election. In fact almost everyone that was a republican was quite sure that the guy was a complete idiot and an egotistical bafoon that couldn’t keep his mouth shut, but “he was our best option”.

**edit* sandberm don’t take this personal, this is not a jab at you but rather at the “trump can do no wrong” sentiment that has been expressed around here quite explicitly by some

Nice dissertation on your beliefs. I like that.

I don’t necessarily concur with all of it; but, guess what? It’s actually kinda nice to have your own process. Isn’t it?

I think where we differ most is that I’m pretty good with a lot of his policies and some of his “people”. Having a group of people that are “Getting shit done!” is quite refreshing in my eyes. Holman, Duffy and Musk…for examples. All have exposed just how insane shit is in the fields that they’re pursuing and I’m liking that. Also, a lot going on at USDA/FDA, NIH…etc. that I’m diggin’.

No, you don’t have to agree with me. I’m jus’ sharing a bit of “where I’m at”.

Ok, I’ve gotta get back to it… I’m gonna go roll around on my knee-scooter and look like the gimp that I am. Btw. Be careful if you ever use on of these at a Supercross…the riders & mechanics will steal it!

Have a Great Day

Which is why EVERYONE in DC, the media, and especially lobbyists, hate him.

Look around, you don't exactly see Republicans supporting him either.

Not sure, Nor do I care, about where you get your news and info.

But the places I frequent are pissed off at the lack of support from both sides of the aisle.

Especially the Republicans who want to retain their $tatus quo.

Both sides are having the size of their pie reduced.

Both sides are guilty of robbing us blind.

Both sides, like I said, hate him, his cabinet, and their agenda.

Both foreign and domestic.

Good stuff on the US investment from Qatar (at the 3:00min mark). Also a fact sheet included to cross check some of the investment numbers:

WH announces $1.2T in economic commitment with Qatar, including a significant Boeing order
The Boeing deal with Qatar Airways marks the largest-ever order for Boeing jetliners

That's if it ever happens. Qatar cancelled their last order with Boeing for 50 planes and went with Airbus instead. If Boeing couldn't produce 50 aircraft on time couple of years ago I doubt if they could for 200 now.

Which network reported that?

You obviously didn’t check it on your own out of thin air.

Headlines like the WSJ  are reporting it.

U.S. Loses Last Triple-A Credit Rating

Moody’s downgrades the U.S. government, citing large fiscal deficits and rising interest costs  https://www.wsj.com/economy/central-banking/u-s-loses-last-triple-a-credit-rating-bfcbae5d

CNN posted 5 minutes ago https://www.cnn.com/2025/05/16/business/moody-us-credit

Let me ask you this, since you’re an expert in US politics. Why do you think the networks are bringing up Biden’s condition and coverup now?

Ohhhh, now you’re not all of the sudden.

Yet, you quickly chide posters who post positive things about America, and Trump.

You have no opinion on my question?

What about this source? Is this the news you’re talking about? What’s your opinion of this? Which network would report that an illegal immigrant was released by a Sanctuary City after committing felonies, only to go out and kill a 6 yr old boy?

This thread is about "liberation Day" tariffs, it has had an effect on the US's credit rating.

Should I quote you?

You should find a different network, ONE THAT REPORTS NEWS.”

Which network? Let’s go man. Tell me which network would you recommend? None of the mainstream media reported on any of the stuff I mentioned previously.

SO WHICH ONE REPORTS NEWS?
