All I know is that this is the second time I've seen RJ go for it in a questionable attempt at a pass in a tight right-hander just before the finish line jump. Both ended in disaster.

That mud slide into the finish was all-time!

At least RJ was going for a championship with his bone headed moves.  JuJu was the one taking it for the team by interfering with the other championship going on.  I've liked JuJu and really wanted him to be Arizona's Tomac.  But the stupid coats he wears to races and the antics on Saturday are embarrassing.  Kid needs to grow up.  In that race, you either go out and do what Deegan did - show everyone how fast you are (if you can) or you ride straight up with no bullshit.  Legit race pace is fine - if you are fast enough (which, he wasn't) go win the race, but you don't intentionally slow down at times to fuck with the riders riding for a championship then speed up and then bang bars when you get passed like a little bitch.  Just an embarrassing effort.  Seth should punt him.  At least RJ had something he was riding for when he made his bone head move.  JuJu was just being a little prick.

I lost a lot of respect for JuJu and RJ. Really the KTM group as a whole. It’s clear what their intentions were to win this title. Tom literally said I knew RJ would do something and I just needed to be close enough to capitalize. It’s not the first time they have played this game. Add into it all the times they have wanted the track changed for their riders or made their own protests, just leaves a bad taste.

If Tom owes anyone anything, it’s JuJu.

Down notes don’t hurt my feelings but there’s at least 7 of you that should listen to the Racer X Salt Lake SX Review with Matthes, Weege and JT starting at around the 30 minute mark.  Just sayin’.  😎

I am surprised at everything I have read and heard from Jason Thomas. "Oh RJ had to do it, who wouldn't for 600k".

every other move by anyone ever like this JT is 100% against.

I understand RJ had to take him out. But just no brains. He had lots of time to do it.

Maybe it is JT approved because he is a Fly guy and loves RJ. But that move was beyond stupid. Anyway record books will always show Seth as 2nd in the championship. But I think he is number 1 in lots of peoples hearts. He really improved on his consistency this year. Was Great.

I will say the only rider that didn't get into stupid stuff was Vialle. He had more class than his team mate and Austrian teammate. Kind of sad that people feel this way about his championship and he didn't create any of the mess.

yep, it's a career limiting move. there's a line you don't cross and taking someone out to artificially create a gap and cost them points is the line.  for clarity, this is in contrast with the osbourne/savatgy thing where you're racing purely for position and are time-pressured to make a pass happen. disabling someone's forward movement to put riders in between yourself and your opponent is unacceptable to most respectable competitors and managers.

RJ's bullshit non apology (BNAP) would have been better left unsaid, for he removed all doubt as to where his character lies. He traded a 2% chance at a 250 title for all his respect and all his reputation and potential future rides at more than one team. NOT a worthy trade, and JT$ of all people, who is OBSESSED with reputation, should know better than to effectively validate this racing style.

….and DeCoster says nothing.

Reverse the roles, and he would have been on fire.

I listened to that too and thought what JT. Normally JT is denouncing that move. Definitely some bias there.
