First full pull on the road last night. My opinion is she gets her best battery burn rate in the 40mph range. I did a couple hwy runs at 75mph and that is an obvious drain. Overall, I traveled 42 miles in an hr on an average speed of 55mph. That's pretty damn good! IMG 1062 1

Can you post a pic of your bike?  Did it come with the Euro-spec lighting like what they had in the promo video or the dumb, bulky blinkers and tail lights?

There was a video on social filmed in CA and it had the huge turn signals and long tail light and license plate bracket. The Euro version looks so much better. Wondering if that version is for all US EX's.

Probably easy to take off, just curious.

So is that your mx version, or are you already riding the EX on the track? If it is the EX, how does it fare in stock trim on the track suspension/frame wise?

I'm still working on the math where 42 miles covered in 1 hour equals an average speed of 55 mph.

The only thing I can figure is the actual riding/moving time was around 45 minutes, and the 1 hour elapsed time includes 15 minutes of stopped time.

I rode moto on the EX last Saturday, but I did swap the suspension over from the MX. It had that new bike feel and I put about 50min on it. Chassis felt great, but I need more time to compare the two.
The pic is my last moto on the day, back on the MX Varg.

I have embedded lights, but I didn't hang the turn signals because I knew I would be riding in the dirt first. Yesterday, I just hung the plate on the fender.

hey guys i spoke with a guy at ekho today.  he said a boat with EXs is due to land in CA on the 15th and then it takes 5 days to clear the port.  And then 1-2 weeks for deliveries.  So first week of may deliveries for many west coasters.  It sounded like they are getting hit w/ tariffs but they are going to honor the original purchase price.

I got an auto e-mail that said i had registration documents in my portal.  but there wasn't.  the power of attorney forms were all that were needed.  that way they can register it in your name.   he said they wait to do the DMV paperwork until they can see that particular VIN# bike did make it without damage.  It would be a pain to change the VIN w/ DMV.

hey guys i spoke with a guy at ekho today.  he said the (west coast) EXs are still the port in LA.  They must have got tied up there and it's easy to see why.
So they are due to truck out of there May 10th.  previous conversation i was told about 2 weeks for shipping, this was w/ different person who had no estimation on that.

If anyone else (except the one lucky guy in this thread who already got his) get's their's please let us know.
The stokage level is high!

Very frustrating that I still don’t have my bike, but yet my first payment is due in about a week. Can’t believe I’m paying for something that I don’t have.

I concur.  We had to prove insurance 4 months ago.  The icing 🧁 is paying the state use tax and paying penalties and interest back to the purchase date.

We are in some strange kinda brotherhood.  If we all got antsy and pulled out like the guy who posted a thread about getting a card company to give him a refund because of a 2 month delay it would probably end Stark.

The fact that Stark ate all the tariffs is so crazy from a business perspective.  I’m shooting in the dark here but I think they sat the bikes in the port for almost a month for a reversal in tariff policy.  Any business would be nuts not to…

My doctor told me today 4 more weeks in a foot bootie.  So perfect timing ⏱️!!  I am probably the only person to feel this way…. I sympathize with all investors in cutting edge electric ⚡️ Moto tech

Hang in there man.

I think this thread is a lesson that a strong dealer network is the way to distribute dirtbikes.

Selling consumer direct has too many flaws.  Selling consumer direct to a dealer is a relative chit show….  There is a good reason nobody does that…

To anyone thinking about buying a EX. —>
It will be cheaper in time and money through your local dealer.  And then you can get your license plate faster.  Nobody has spoken about that anywhere…

Cheers 🍻 bros it will all be worth it in a couple weeks…

West coast bikes take a little longer to deliver because the ship has to pass through Panama. Texas was first to deliver, about 3 weeks ago.

West coast dealers will take delivery any day now, along w/ online orders.

Fire off any questions if you have'em. If anyone wants to buy from a dealers, you can get on the stark future website and click the dealer locator. I advise you call a dealer first to be sure they ordered EX's and that they aren't spoken for.

I’m in Ohio, I was actually told  Bike cleared customs (JFK) back on the 18th. I have been told Bike will be shipped out on the 10th or sooner. We shall see, I did have someone reach out to me asking if I had a dock at my residence, but told them no they would need a truck with a lift gate. That was two weeks ago and I have not heard back since. I would’ve called  back for follow up however they called me from  unknown number.

Well if you received that call from the shipping company, you're on their schedule now. Won't be long!

Good news, I just  tracking information from the third-party shipper… It says it’ll be in my backyard in the next day or two. I will confirm with everyone once I actually get it… You know how stark is with pushing back delivery dates

When should we see DMV tags or is that better to call Ekho about?

Thanks!

Just because I am a hell of a good guy I will wait for delivery in your back yard and keep an eye on it for you until you get home so no one takes it, now I just need your address. 😉😁

Yes, I do have one, it’s from Delaware I’m assuming when I get my hard plate, it will be from Ohio. so I don’t know what that looks like but I’m assuming it should be no problem

Okay some updates,

The phone foam is missing, the clutch side front number plate blinker is not working, and they forgot my rear brake rotor guard I paid extra for.

I learned today that the stock handlebar mounts will not work on the Xtrig triple clamps so I had to order some Xtrig bar mounts hoping the phone mount will bolt right up. I’ll keep you posted. Also waiting on  factory suspension that will arrive on Monday after being held up in customs for the past two weeks and then hopefully my graphics will arrive in the next week.IMG 9711
