Yeah should be a great trip. Probably not bringing any fish back on the plane. Just keep what we'll eat + a few extra to trade for lobsters.

Yep, Baja is awesome, no place like it in the world. Might go down to La Paz for the B1K this year. Still not sure if I can swing it.

Probably not, the boat were going in doesn't have that kinda range. It's a 40' Cabo Express. We're gonna strap two 50 gallon drums of diesel up just to be safe but probably won't need it. We're basically gonna troll the whole way down so we'll probably get a gallon a mile avg. Not sure on the fuel tank but I think it's a 550 gallon like mine.

I hear it's going off down south right now, greasy flat and killer bite. The guy I'm going down with called his buddy who's in cabo and he just landed a 560LB black marlin yesterday.

Man Monday can't get here fast enough.

I've always wanted to fish Alijos, but my tolerance is about 5 days on a boat. I did one 5 day on the Royal star a number of years ago and I was crawling the walls on the 4th night. Maybe my tude is better these years. I was way more amped then.

Honestly i'm a little worried about it also.. I did a 5 day like 3 years ago, and thats the longest I've done so far. Were going on the American Angler for the 10 day, and It's supposed to be top of the line as far as these boats go. But at the same time I'm wondering what I got myself into Laughing Should be a good time..

Robert make sure you take lots of pics and good luck down there!

I have friends that do the clipperton stuff and so on, not sure how they do it. One buddy does Alijos a few times in the season or Long range and numerous other trips. He has no issues, I just remember the feeling of claustrophobia creeping in. The American Angle is a top notch boat so that isn't an issue, I once went on the Conquest on a 2.5 day trip. It was a friends charter and he knew the captain well, so it was pushing the range of the boat. Made it down to Colonet area, the crew was always checking fuel during the trip. No shower at all, very spartan, that was a good trip.

5 days is a while even if its a good long range boat. You start going a lil nuts right around day 3.
