Hey all I just got these links from Stark with an email saying a shipment is on the way over the ocean.  I couldn't find a dedicated thread for this new machine other than delivery date so let's start one...

Was this email different than the one they sent that said your  Varg is packed? Also, when you get yours, will you let me know if it has all the stuff already on it to make  US  road legal? I’m hoping they did not put it on. It will save me an hour of stripping all that BS off.

Yo-
It is going to depend on your state.  Here in OR there is no sales tax.  YAY!

But i did have to pay a state "Use Tax" myself that is not listed here in the pic.  That use tax started on the purchase date in December so I had to pay like $35 penalties and interest and the tax was based on prices so it was like $190 total.  I had to show the tax certificate as part of the paperwork process.

The crazy part is I chose to have my bike delivered to a dealer.  I want to support my local peeps but i don't think they are getting enough out of the deal to bother un-crating it.  It is awkward getting the first EX at the dealership consumer direct.  The dealer doesn't seem to be in the consumer direct information loop and it surly doesn't seem like that is their fault.

I suggest to everyone to wait a bit and then just go buy your EX at your dealer.  I think all the bikes are getting hit with tariffs now and they are eating them to honor the original purchase price.  What a fiasco.

If you have a dealer who has an allocation of EX's then go put $ down and make sure the bill of sale says it's tariff price proof.

I'll know more soon as the bike is due next week.

Q: What do you call it when a stark rider brings their bike home?

A: A coming out party!!  🏳️‍🌈

I am taking full credit for this joke....

Put a Maico 490 in your profile pic, and you are maybe close to ready to make this joke.

I totally agree that men who ride or rode a Maico anything are legendary.
The old Maico dealership network could teach Anton a few lessons about supply chains.
I agree that I am not qualified to make any jokes.  TY for bringing The Dirty Points!
