I really think Mike was wanting to say a little more than he did. He really wanted to open up more about what he has been experiencing and instead of being completely honest and opening himself up to even more ridicule he used the term worked even harder in place of changed a bunch of stuff on the bike, had a come to jesus meeting with his dad or decided to slow down with his girlfriend. At the end any of those changes are working harder but he just didn't feel like sharing it with everyone, even though he was on that path and got real close.



Public speaking is a mother fucker and when you paint yourself in a corner sometimes you have to make yourself look a little foolish to keep your hand close to your vest.

Since this topic is so off the mark I can't help but post a Tyson vid. Also a Roy Jones Jr. vid just for good measure. Some brutal smashers in their prime. Not a fan of rap or boxing particularly, but there is some serious pain in these.
