Other than 70.00 more, what is the difference between analog and digital PVL ignitions? Some models offer a choice

Analog has fixed timing. Although I do think it retards below 500 rpm to ease starting. Makes kick starting a 74 CR250 an absolute joy opposed to the points system which kicks back like a mofo!

Digital is only usable for engines under 200cc. It is programmed with a fixed advance/retard curve which helps with rpms bouncing around(as in mx). Probably useless on a road race application where it stays pinned.

Need one, let me know.

I would like to purchase a digital PVL ignition system for my 1974 YZ125. Where is the best place to find one?
