At the X it is evident that the Fox logos were hidden by the DC Shoes logo.
Regarding Thor? I mean why trouble and big deal? Riders come and go from brands every years. Some stay longer, some go quick. Anything can happen. Chad was 9 years with Thor. At some point it's time to move on, parties disagree on things, someone makes mistakes here and there, upsets the other party here and there. Time to call it quit and move on.
As far as Sheldon, he was an employee. at some point his presence at Thor race support wasn't needed anymore, and he was replaced (had not been doing Thor for over a year) and move to Slippery, PU's watersports line. Sheldon was the main guy there for a while. With the economy, some jobs can be cut in this industry, or just replaced by lower salaries.
RV is still at Thor
PC is still a Thor team
I am sure they will get 1 or 2 cheaper riders to replace the exposure Chad was giving them.
I respect riders like Reed, TP, RC, Bubba, Windham, who try to stay as long as possible with a brand. But at some points, like MC, like TP, like Windham, like Bubba, a rider moves on, or is picked up or dropped.
My main question was simply, what's up over there at Thor. Seemed like the ending with 22 was kind of abrubt and I figured it was economy related. I have no doubt that they'll be represented well in the near future.
Good perspective...thanks!
Reminiscent of the Mike Alessi and Suzuki debacle.
Pit Row
The economy is bad for every companies out there. BUT... Thor might just suffer the result of few years of lame ads, products that fall apart and corporate BS. Creativity and passion have left building a long time ago.
