I assumed that since it was represented a lot in US MX and SX that maybe it just wasn't up to par with their street offerings and mx boots; boy was I wrong. Usually I put a hurtin on the knee's of pants in a full day of riding but these A-Stars pants knee's are built up like the elbows on a street bike leather jacket.

Love the gear.
I have a-starts I ordered from England, it is indeed great gear, vents great too. Too bad our exchange rate sucks.

I heard from a friend who once shopped in the same mall as Reed's cousin's best friend that Chad let a bear ride his bike in MSR gear, on Maxxis tires, and the freakin brass were PISSED. At the bear, anyway. Seems bears DO shit in the woods.

There might be some truth to this based on what Ive interpreted....He has an option to ride another year with Kawi, hasn't said if he will and stopping mid season because of a neck or epstien barr virus is a little fishy. He is not riding for thor anymore either so no gear sponsor at this point. Not saying I know for sure he is done but I do see a pattern developing here. I for one would really bummed if he retired, he is still killing it and one of probably 5 riders that can seemingly run Stewart down or at least beat him straight up. It woul be a huge loss for SX/MX racing if he retired now while he still has a lot of speed left to compete.

I Knew he switched to fox after wearing alpinestars for just a little. but then at X games i did not know that was fox gear, Cause the Fox logos were not there so i did not think he would just cover them up.

Great reply Shenzi...and I think the "Justin" he was referring to is me, although like I said before, I don't know a thing about Travis. I did see him rocking the Fox stuff complete w/logos in Oz and sans logos at X. Even with my ADD...Wink

My main question was simply, what's up over there at Thor. Seemed like the ending with 22 was kind of abrubt and I figured it was economy related. I have no doubt that they'll be represented well in the near future.

The economy is bad for every companies out there. BUT... Thor might just suffer the result of few years of lame ads, products that fall apart and corporate BS. Creativity and passion have left building a long time ago.
