I was like "WTF" as well. This AMA FIM thing is getting a little weird.

And while I'm on a rant, what genius at Direct TV decided to change the name from “Supercross” to “AMA racing”. Messed my recording schedule all up...Damn them… Damn them to hell!!!!!

when did they change Toronto to an AMA round anyway?

Is there only once championship now? No more world SX title? Or is Daytona part of the WSX?

The Canada races had always been before A1. Did they count for points in the Supercross class in 2006 & 2007? I didn't think so. I just looked at the AMA results for Supercross in 2007 and they didn't count the Canada rounds. 16 rounds starting at A1... Am I wrong?

16 "AMA" rounds, plus 1 additional FIM "world" sx round. thats why toronto doesnt count for the ama 250f series.

AMA results pages show 19 rounds. Toronto + 2 US Open Nights under the Official Points page for the Supercross Championship. Whats up with that?

Thanks for that nugget. It cleared everything up. :shock:

The integration of the FIM round this year is different from years past. I don’t think there’s a World Title this year. Is there? And the Toronto race counted towards the AMA totals. It just shows you how confusing it is.

Toronto is AX riders riding SX for the lites class atleast. Toss in three or four regular sx riders.
