Has anyone in here spent a decent amount of time on a 2023/24 and a 2025 Austrian 250/300 two stroke, back to back?  I'm curious how noticeable the chassis changes are with the two strokes.  I haven't seen any reviews of the '25 two strokes where it's mentioned.

I had a '24 250xc and have a '25 250xc now. Front end feel is a lot better. It just has a really good ground feel too it. The '24 had a little harshness at the top of stroke that went away on bigger hits. The '25 has that good feel from top of stroke all the way down through bigger hits. This is all on stock suspension including the CC spring forks.

Rear is a little better, but the 2t never had the harshness like the 4t. I would say the bike is a little less edgy too. It doesn't feel like you have to ride it quite as precisely.

Exactly the comparison I was looking for, thanks.  Is there a big difference between the two in acceleration and/or braking bumps?

I don’t notice a big difference in braking bumps. Acceleration chop may be a little better, but not a huge difference. I think I am more sensitive to the cornering feel than braking/accel bumps.

Thank again for the info.

I had a 23 and 24 Ktm 300sx and now a 25 TC 300. All three bikes had that exact same kit suspension from day one. I personally didn’t notice any difference between frames. Maybe I’m not that sensitive but going from the 22 to 23 frame was a huge difference in both the flex and the handling, so I’m not completely insensitive.

Perhaps if I rode them back to back I could tell but it’s def not a huge difference for me to feel nothing. It was two weeks for me between the 22 and 23 frame and the difference in stiffness of the 23 was incredible to me.

Thanks for sharing your experience.  It seems to be the consensus with everyone I've talked to that the'23 and '25 frame changes are much less noticeable on the two strokes.  Like you, I know I haven't been terribly sensitive to chassis changes on past bikes so I don't expect I would notice the 24 to 25 changes.  I'm also coming off a '22 so anxious to see how the 23+ chassis feels.
