Holy crap you can't shut Him up. Talks non stop. But ya he's pretty solid otherwise. Kinda enjoyed it surprisingly 😄
I never root for him...but i certainly don't want him injured and the sport is better with him.
What i didnt expect, the booth is better with him.
It doesn’t take much to be better…
You should bag on him. Because he fucking sucks.

dont think he was any better than most.....its just that lee diffy didn't talk and that made it seem better. lol
Don’t worry, we will bag on him for you. He was horrid tonight.
I thought it was one of the better broadcasts I can recall…. Actually calling the races rather than long winded stories, some good insight regarding the track and riders from RC. Jett was a bit rough but what do ya expect?
Totally agree. I think Ricky made much more of an effort to talk and be himself.
If the anti-Ricky fans could stop and take a breath for a moment, they might have seen that as well.
I'm not happy with the DB stuff, but I think RC really stepped up this weekend.
I hate knocking the commentators, but I actually found Adam to be talking too much this time. A little bit hyper...?
No I think you are wrong, go back and watch it again. Ricky rarely calls things as they are happening on the track. Rider appears on screen: Ricky- I just go back to last week blah blah blah. Meanwhile he’s missing opportunities to discuss the outside of sand section being faster (or the inside forming up), the triple/triple that some riders aren’t getting over every lap, only a few guys in 250s were able to get the triple onto the on/off. RJ started getting it in his heat after he blew it for the first few laps and kept losing time, forcing him to make up time everywhere else on Anstie.
Early in the 250 main Davies tries to force a pass on Shimoda and goes down, RC calls him Anstie ffs.
in the 450 heat when Justin Hill gets to the lead; Ricky- instead of analysing what he is doing and the race, he goes on a tangent about “awwwww he’s got soo much bike skill blah blah” next thing we know he’s dropped back to 7th… (Why Ricky, give us a break down on what went wrong, he wasn’t getting around very efficient, he was slower in the sand etc etc).
Riders get held up by lappers and he has no idea sometimes why time was made up or lost..
He just needs to be told to stop telling fn stories and discuss the race at hand.
Credit to him though, he did notice a flame coming out of an exhaust at one point lol
Honestly I enjoyed Jetts comments about the race more, and I wasn’t expecting to.
I find humor in the fact that more scrutiny is put on the booth than the actual race. Makes me think the complainers would be content with a bunch of amateurs in the night show if it meant their announcers of choice were in the booth. Sigh.
Perhaps your being a bit hyper critical mate? Give him a pass on the Davies/Anstie thing atleast, all 4/5 star Yamahas were bunched together wearing the exact same gear, and he corrected himself quickly. The disrespect for the Goat of this sport is crazy, all because some media pansy had a cry about him on camera. Who gives AF.
