Jian Zhao, a battery supply sergeant stationed at Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington state, is alleged by federal prosecutors to have communicated with an unnamed co-conspirator from July to December of last year in order to sell an encrypted military computer and 20 classified hard drives.

Lots of equipment from there routinely flying over my house. Love seeing it.

I'm speculating. You will probably find that this dude has family in China who were being threatened by the China regime in order for him to cooperate with demands. Sure he got paid but damn, treason is heavy.

As Australia is , like the USA, an Immigration Nation, but, far more so nowadays with us being  low in population, so, we have a fairly big Immigration intake. It's a BIG debate here in OZ, whether it's Too Much, or, Not Enough. 

And, after our opening up our system to  immigrants from More Countries ( fair enough - we've had some pretty bloody dreadful policies in the past, through 'fear' and prejudice) , we now have a significant intake from Asia, specifically, China.

Now, I do some work at the Uni Of NSW / Sydney, and others now, and, you see an enormous amount of Asian faces. Many being Paying Students from overseas ( Education is , I think, our 2nd or 3rd biggest 'Industry / Export ) , but, many being the typical  children of immigrants that are trying to achieve the Australian Dream. Fair enough - Immigrants don't move Countries to F**k around - they are Go Getters.

But, many could be exposed to the sort of Coercion you mentioned. And that's a very powerful thing, the threatening of families / yourself. 

And, there always will be, those that need no coercion - being that they are placed into a Country to do what their Government commands them to do. Things like CCP  'Police Stations' existing in Sovereign Nations , is a real concern - that sort of thing  has been shown to exist in countless countries, by the CCP. 

I'm just curious.  I think both parties are full of fuckwits but it does seem like the news channels are super quick to talk about party affiliation when it's a Republican voter that does something crazy but we don't often see them point out a Democrat doing something crazy.

No - he may not even be registered.  The only people I could find with a fast search (same name) were all older - this is the youngest Florida Reg (D).. The guy is 56 and could be his father -then again maybe not.  Not sure if related or not? Haven't dug any deeper.

If the news people talked about dems when they do something crazy they’d never have time to talk about anything else.
