No, it's not my belief, hence "what was told to me" comment.
I work very closely with several openly gay men and they all tell me they where born that way and that's what I believe.
but if you try to argue that point on religion, those folk will say it was a choice, they where not born that way. just sayin...

I don't know why, but why would God make retarted children (sorry for politically incorrectness here).
My neighbors are deeply religious, kind, giving, faithful people and have a child with autism. She's 12, can't talk, wears a diaper, it's really sad. Are they being punished? why?
Not saying being gay is like autism, but the relation is they are born that way, with those genes, and can't help it.

My wife was Catholic when we met.

It took a few years, but I finally convinced her that she was into some pretty heavy witchcraft, and got her to bail.

She was raised Catholic, and didn't even know that every Catholic church has body parts from a saint in it.

Now she's a Born Again, and I can deal with that (mostly.)

I am a christian and my neighbor is gay. I talk to him all the time, he asked me what I thought and I told him "I dont agree with it but its not my job to judge you." I think on a personal level he is a great guy. I dont talk about this topic becouse I dont understand it. Why someone would choose to be gay is beyond me. I have alot of bad habbits and tendencies that I have to fight off on a dailey basis, I just choose not to give into them.

We are all human and we were all born with our own sets problems, its what we do with those problems that makes us different.
