So someone is always guilty based on past history?
They do it in NASCAR

come-on farva, its how the world works. We screw up once ok, twice its not so cool and three times your out. Not just Jlaw but in all things socially acceptable, heck even base ball!
If Dr. Kavorkian shows up at your place for supper, the talk will eventually lead to death. This is no different and yes your past does define who you are..maybe a person can change but how he or she is percieved will most likely stick for years based on behaviour of the past, especially recent past.

Exactly you stole the words from my mouth. Many other "young punks", like to test out someone better than them, whether he is better financially or just better with the ladies!! I know another pro rider that I used to go to bars with, we did get into some situations, where had he not been who he was status wise, we would have scrapped with the punks!! It is like being the big kid in school, some people want to test you!! Why else do stars get body guards? It is not that they can't handle themselves, it is to stop them from being in the media's front page for busting some fool!!!!! They are only human and sometimes, one has enough. JLaw being who he is in the public and MX eye, he naturally gets reported about. How come the name of the other party wasn't brought up? It is like Tyson getting challenged to a fight and he busts some fool, guess who will be written about? Am I getting the point across? My two cents!!!
Jay doesnt take anybodys shit cause he has ALWAYS been a target, and I know that he caused that himself.
Heres a strange story:
About 3 years or so ago we were all pitted together at Ponca. a bunch of kids were doing tricks on bikes at the makeshift " jump " area when i approached Ryan Dungeys lil brother Blake and told him it was not a good idea to do that cause we were here to race and he could easily get hurt. ( I kno its like preaching but my son had a bike lever puncture his front thigh doing the same thing a Broome and the surgeon informed us an inch to the left and he may have trouble using the thigh muscle.. i was scared and his Mom was glad I said it to him) Anyway, I was standing with my son and Jay and one of the fathers that overheard me tell Blake that, looked at all the the other kids and said "oh tell that fuckin bitch to shut up"...my son was really upset and without a word Jay walked over and stood next to the Dad and asked him "did you call my mom a bitch" and the guy replied "uh no" and jay said "I didnt think so" made the guy look like an idiot and walked away. Hes that kind of kid...believe me i know he is wild, many of you just dont know anything but the bad things....and yes I do know it is fault.

Not always...but the chances improve when the numbers increase.

Yup and not to mention, some of us were born looking guilty!!

Hahaha....that is sooo true!! since he was little even if he wasnt guilty he would always have that shit eatin grin that made you think he was!!!! lol
From RacerHead:
It has been an interesting and frustrating week as far as news goes for me. First, we got an anonymous tip that Jason Lawrence had a little run-in with the law while he was in Daytona Beach for Bike Week.… Absolutely shocking news, right? I heard about this the following week, but I normally don’t give those rumors a whole lot of credibility unless I have some type of tangible evidence or first-hand account. Then someone sent me the police report from the incident. The West Region Lites points leader was arrested late Saturday night on March 8 on charges of Disorderly Conduct for fighting someone on the sidewalk in the wee hours of Friday night on North Atlantic Avenue. Police were called and Lawrence was detained while the other party fled the scene. He was later released on $250 bail.[/quote:llr5ox6b]
And Hill got away! He must have been on a 450

That's kinda what I was thinking.....Gheez, none of this guys got in a scrap growin' up.? Let's ban the youngster for giving our sport a bad name.
Especially a youngster like J-Law! I can see it now, walking down the street in Daytona, half buzzed after a good night out, just looking for another guy with piano strings hanging from his shoulders! (its gotta be a fair fight...)

He might be showing up for more than dinner!!!

and I don't think either of you earned a six-figure+ paycheck and [b:1fo2znru]represented several multi-million dollar companies.[/b:1fo2znru]
I don't think comparing our ill-spent youth to that of a professional athlete is even remotely accurate[/quote:1fo2znru]
Those companies all know what they get when they sponsor a guy like Jason.
Pit Row
Not much different than now. JLaw will be hoisting the title and Dungey will be choking it away.

You sponsor a team, not a single rider
At least in the instance of YoT
It doesn't excuse it
They do it in NASCAR
They expect their participants and athletes to maintain a certain level of decorum and professionalism at all times.

DMG is a booming business because Bill France Sr. sponsored, coddled and sought out moonshine runners. Punks and racing have a long history.
Ask Kurt Busch how it went when he got busted on suspicion of drunken driving and cited for reckless driving.
NASCAR doesn't put up with poor behavior and illegal things with their participants

Or ask Tony Stewart, he is the absolute model of what to be in NASCAR ,hahah ,or better yet ask him if he is running Goodyears on his family car.

And since trashcar has taken the high road their tv ratings have dropped 20%. We have religion to make us feel guilty we need our racing to be exciting.

Tony gets fined a lot by NASCAR, but not only does he have a loyal fan base and sell the crap out of product, nine times out of ten what ever it is he's bitching about, he's right, and most everyone in the garage agrees
Just like with the Goodyear thing
Not much different than now. JLaw will be hoisting the title and Dungey will be choking it away.[/quote:1rd8a5sd]
I think your crystal ball has a little "purple haze" going on that's clouding the vision. But the future will tell.
Stuck in the little picture thing?
Big picture, big picture
