HOWEVER, they do not want you to wash your bikes at your parking/camp spot.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The 2010 AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship from Loretta Lynn Ranch will once again return to Versus Network with HD coverage of the world's largest single motocross event. The show debuts on Thursday, September 23 at 5 p.m. ET with a re-air scheduled for Tuesday, September 28 at 5 p.m. ET.
Produced by the highly-regarded Racer TV crew that is known for creating the popular Can-Am GNCC Racing Series and ITP/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship shows, the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship coverage will bring the in-depth, high intensity product that's fans have become accustomed to.
"With so many classes and such a diverse group of competitors, it can be very challenging to produce a television show" said Event Director Tim Cotter. "With so many future stars of our sport, Racer TV does everything it can to capture all of the drama and excitement of this illustrious event. If something happens at the race, you can be sure Racer TV captured it and I think that is what has made the shows so popular." Loretta Lynn's has aired on Versus Network since 2005, showcasing current and future pro motocross superstars such as Ryan Villopoto, Jason Lawrence, Josh Hill, Trey Canard, Austin Stroupe, Justin Barcia, Blake Wharton and last year's top riders Eli Tomac and Dean Wilson, who won the 2009 Horizon Award. The show also chronicles youth, vet and women's class racers.
The half hour show is hosted by Jason Weigandt, the voice behind the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship telecasts on SPEED and NBC Sports in addition to the GNCC and ATV shows on Versus.
"I love having the opportunity to commentate at the pro events, but there is something special about Loretta Lynn's that I can't enough of," said Weigandt. "The summer camp feel, the buzz in the air and the all out effort every single amateur rider gives on the track. There is just nothing like the Amateur National Championship and it something you have to experience to believe it."

There are lots of nice mom and pop businesses in Waverly that can help you with things you might need while you are here, for exaple:
If you need STRAW BALES, you can get them at Superior Farm, they are located at 216 East Commerce Street. Directions- go to the intersection of Hwy 13 and East Main Street and turn right onto East Main Street, go to the 4-way stop and turn left onto Cooley Ave., go about 300 yards and you will see a warehouse on your left. You can't miss it they have U-HAULS and barn buildings on the lot.
Also, they can help If you need a U-HAUL trailer tow dollty, transport or truck, they even have BOXES and packing materials. It's best to call ahead during motocross, because equipment always gets booked fast.
If you need CHAIN OR ROPE they also carry that too.
Plus, if your lucky you can try their awsome Chicken Salad and a nice cool beverage form their deli. That's all they serve and they only make a small supply each day and it always sells out!!!
The folks there are very helpful and if you have any questions about the area they might be able to help you.
Across the street is a nice convenience market with gas, snacks, and all kinds of cold beverages. There'e even a Pizza Place and package store across the street.
You can find a nice little grocery store on Simpson Ave. it's called Kents Cee Bee. They are small and easy to get in and out of fast, and should have just what you need.
There's a Sonic in Waverly too !!! So if you're in need of a slush, you've got it!

S and J Designs on the square, are happy ot help you design something special. Sometimes you can get it in just a few hours..... but usually more like the next day.

There's good mexican restaurant on west main street just go past the CVS drugstore about 1/4 mile and you can't miss it, it's in the parking lot of FRED's .

There's a JC Penny store on East Main Street they have a selection of shoes and clothes, you can get custom tees made there too.
Oh and I almost forgot if you love Dippin Dots you can get them at Express Video, they are on West Main Street just before you get to Sonic.

I don't usually head into Waverly too often, so it's good to get some more info about it
It's a cute little town
Hope it's still open for the annual "Chicken Fest".
Wal Mart is there too.
Use to be a movie theater downtown too, I believe.

Dickson now has a Logan's Roadhouse at I-40
there's also a BBQ place about a mile or so from the court house, go down west main street all the way past McDonalds, CVS and Freds keep going down west main through a residential area it will be on the right , pretty good stuff, and they have a drive thru. go early though they close aroung 7pm.....grrrrr.
You'll be close to Wal-Mart when you at the bbq place if you need to make a stop over there, just trun right and get back on west main go to the intersection at the by- pass turn right and immediately get into the turning lane and turn left at the next red light. You'll see Wal-Mart to your left.
Wal-Mart has a snack bar to your right just inside inside the front door, the have good boneless buffalo wings and good sliced deli meat by the pound.....love their cajun turkey!!!!
There's a meat and 3 on the left just after you pass by the hospital, that's before you get into downtown Wavo. I haven't tried it, they haven't been open very long, Sorry I can't really recommend something I haven't tried. But it is there and open for breakfast untli ?
Not too crazy about the place across from the court house called Sammys, they are slow and the prices are high for around here.
Waverly Cafe is also on the square. It'll be a nice place for the ladies to visit. They are quaint and very friendly, food is tasty too. They can have lunch, then go next door to the little bouique shop called S and J Designs. and there's a flea market open on the weenends on the square too, that might be fun for some folks.
Yes, the Mi De Ga Theater is still open it has one screen, this weekend it's showing the movie Cats and Dogs Revenge of Kitty Galore.
There's also the Valley Drive Inn open only on weekends. They are playing The Sourcers Apprentice and SALT.
Next door to the theater you'll find The Boardwalk. A pub, billiard parlor the locals frequent.
On Saturday nites at 6pm the whole court square turns into a crazy mess. It's called Music on the Square. The locals love it. Local bands and some out of Nashville drop in to entertain .......lawn chairs and all.......just be careful people run around amuck and I dread having to drive thru town on Saturday nites.....grrrrr But if you like that type of thing, it might be the place for you. Don't say I sent you though. : )
If you have time after the races, you'd might like to stay and fish awhile. We have wonderful fishin' holes around here. We have wonderful creeks and streams, and of course we are on Kentucky Lake where there's some wonderful Bass Fishing to be had.
There are 3 tire places in Waverly. One is called Mastercare, it's on West Main before you get to Mc D's. Two, is called Waverly Tire, it's past Mc D's and CVS next door to the post office. Third is Co-Op they are on Hwy 13s, you pass by there on your way into downtown waverly. Usually Co-Op is the higher of the 3, but They were having a sale and that's where I got my last set and I was a happy shopper.
If you need a tow while your in town try calling Jr's Towing Service or Cannons Body shop, sure hope you never need this tip, both have helped me before with no problems.
