I like to share some engine tuning mods I did to my 2022 Gasgas ec350f (350excf-w) .
As a desmogged 350f enduro bike it has decent power, however I also ride a lot mx in Holland and our enduro competitions are not so technical as in other countries but more mx/crosscountry style. So I wanted more mx style power like the US xcf models.First I did after desmogging was a full HGS exhaust system and better mapping in the stock ecu, better but still to soft power. Now I have bought 2 350sxf cams, and wow! That helped alot!then I bought a vortex ecu with custom mapping tested from the dyno and.....bingo! This is what I was searching. Its still very smooth for tight single tracks and not stalling, but when I twist the throttle, yes!!MX power comes loose, its so tractable smooth and very fast.Coming from a '21 300tpi,this bike I like so much better.I'm wondering why I can't find more 350exc owners on forums that did these cam modifications, it's so freakin good.Hope this helps some xcw owners searching for a bit more! Feel free to ask questions.
Regards Harm

Sorry to thread mine, but great work. You really gotta go old school with cams to get the results you want I think. Can I ask who supplied the vortex mapping ? I normally find the 350 enduro's so underwhelming I just stick with my jap 250F. The EX350 can't be rego'd and has the narrower gearbox, the 24 models get the wide ratio box but have the stiff frame....
Guessing you haven't tried hard enduro or anything super techy ?
Good to here, i have the same bike more or less. fe350 and im looking for little more power. have full hgs now and 2 stroke filter cage. also has an vortex but its not mapped for the 350. who did your mapping ?
