Great to see him back on the bike, wonder if anyone got any lap times compared to others. Hope his wrist is feeling 100% and not bothering him! Anyone there have any observations.

Well they did save up money from him not racing like 15 supercrosses didn't they? So im sure that's enough money for 4 nationals.

He shot an answer ad about a month ago with red #1 plates, but RD was the SX champ. ITs on the backround of racerx.

How did they save money? That still had to travel to every race with Josh Hill. How much do you think Stewarts bike weighs? lol

No spare parts used, no motors used, no gas used, no tires used etc.

Tell me how to save money when the the whole team and rig were at every Supercross. James was at almost every race too. I need to figure out your secret of saving money. What's your trick?

Parts are free, motor's would be the same, used or not, team doesn't pay for race fuel. Come on, keep trying. Let me give you a hint. Team spent the same amount, if James raced or not. James was at just about every Supercross in 2010.

There's no line at the door, trying to put money in our bank. Money is only going one direction for motocross events, out.

Well you wouldn't have had to pay James any bonus money for wins

LB, I'll save you money, I am great on priceline.com! hahaha

Good to see James back. Our sport needs him, fans need him and even riders need him. Races aren't the same without him. I went to Red Bud and it was a great race and I had fun but Bubba wasn't there as well as RC. Those two always seem to step it up and impress me.

Wish I was going to 'Dilla but I'll be racing in Mexico. I'll be at Southwick at 95%!! Can't wait!

PS: Does someone have a clip of Bubba passing Josh Grant in Anaheim 2 2009?

I agree DV and thanks. Let me tell you, he's pumped to be back on a motorcycle. With all the time off and listening to confused people talk about his injury, it was just way too long.

I don't have that pass from 09, but why? I don't remember it. Refresh my memory, please.

It's the best pass I've seen since Bradshaw in bowl turns in Vegas almost 20 years ago! He scared Josh off in the turn before the last rhythm section. He turned on a dime without braking. Amazing. Someone really needs to dig that pass out.

Here you go DV. Your going to have to pull it out of there, but it's at 1 minute and 37 seconds.

I do remember that pass and just watched it again. James does the most amazing things on a motorcycle. Even today watching him ride, I'm amazed what he can do. Even a rider at your caliber get's off on watching James ride. That's cool!

Well one thing is for sure can't remember where I read this but it was in a magazine....that James only uses one clutch and one set of brake pads the entire season!! Maybe the were referring to SX or MX either way that is insane! They sure saved a lot on bonus money though LOL

The parts aren't free .....its just that we the fans and everyday riders/consumers pay for them kind of like taxpayers for the govt. There are IMO too many riders getting stuff for free thats why gear, tires, and aftermarket exhausts/parts are so dam expensive!

I have seen major gear company reps give my old manager numerous sets of gear free and he was a parts manager .....just think of all the riders that wear their gear once and get a new set, same with graphics......If a parts manager can get an entire set of gear for free at the snap of a finger incliuding A-stars tech 8 or 10's numerous times and how many sets of graphics teams go through per week not to mention ALL the tires.....sheesh its no wonder we as a public pay so much for this stuff....its to cover the sponsored riders lavish benefits and Im not even referring to the AM's just the pro's....and the parts managers LOL

Chew on that one for a minute or two......
