IIRC

Right below the pipe is the cover for the water pump.  You can take the bottom bolt out of the cover and drain alot of the anti-freeze.  Or, you can take the whole cover off and the impeller comes out.  

The cover below that is to change the spring on the power valve.  New bikes come with one or two springs.  One spring let's the power valve open quicker and the other spring lets it open slower.

Right below the pipe is the cover for the water pump.  You can take the bottom bolt out of the cover and drain alot of the anti-freeze.  Or, you can take the whole cover off and the impeller comes out.

it will adjust the timing of the power valve operation so yes to a degree.  grab a manual for the bike.

Which bike is this? On the 250’s we’ve been starting by screwing it all the way out and then back in 1 3/4 turns and adjusting from there.

Seeing the white frame and pipe routing, I'm going with a Husky 125.

My crystal ball didn't give me a year. 😃
