.... of your own team. With the free agents this year what would your 4 rider team look like for next year?

2 -450 riders

2 - 250 riders

You have 1 mil to spend without factory assistance or sponsorship money, but they require all your riders do sx and mx....

you have to figure in the factory and associate sponsor $ ....

So who do you think you can get and will they ride both series'.

Matthes will not be a "man friend" to anyone on the team so that'll save you $$....

If I had my way, RC would come out of retirement and he'd be my 450 guy. Then, Travis Pastrana would be my other 450 guy and he would decide to focus 100% on racing.

In the 250 class, I'd have to go with Ashley Fiolek (in the men's class) and The General (Brian Deegan).

I wouldn't care about winning but that'd be nice. I just want high profile athletes that bring my sponsors lots of customers so that I, in turn, make a lot of money.

Yes all the ancillary items are paid for, traver-hauler-mechanics... etc.

What type of team do you think you could put together with 1mil....

Seriously it's not a lot of money to spread out to 4 riders that have to do both series.

The question is who would be avalible and who do you think you could get for X dollars?

I would spend $1k and get some PI hack to bug Decoster's phone to find some unknowns like that Dungey guy.

Then I would sign them for $75k.

I would spend $100k on a speaking and PR coach.

Then I would spend $600k on a marketing team.

After my riders clean house and win every freaking title the first year I would 10X their base pay with all the sponsor money that is rolling in.

Decoster would be all paraniod and only talk to up and comers on scrambled phones or in person.

Dungey $350k

Townley $350k

250:

Wilson $150k

Baggett $150k

This team could produce a west(Wilson) &east(Baggett) title, 450 SX(Dungey), 250 MX(Wilson), and 450 MX(Townley) title all in a single year

You honestly think you could hire Ryan Dungey, the Supecross champion and likely National champion, for $350,000?

I have a bridge in Brooklyn you may be interested in, too.

If you only have 1 millon, plus endemic sponsors money, your going to have a tough time paying for everything you'd need to have a race team. A team has to rent a shop and build it up inside for the mechanics to be able to work, then a transporter, pant & graphics and a canopy and put graphics on that too and build the inside of the transporter up too. Hire mechanics and if their cheap, your going to have DNF's. Then you's need to figure travel expences (flights, hotels, rental cars). Then you can start thinking of your riders, because with out all the above, riders would sign with you. The riders need a salary, expences, and a bonus system (if you don't have factory support. They won't race for the posted contengencey).

Don't forget above all the testing you'd need to do, that cost money. Pit shirts, jackets, food at testing and on race day for your crew, friends & family, and sponsors.

On top of all that you'd need insurance for the transporter, riders, the shop and hiden things you'd never think of.

I just said hiden costs, well there are so many you wouldn't even imagen.

I don't think you have enough money. Everyone just thinks about riders salaries and that's only a small part of the whole program. With no tital sponsor, you better not even try, Trust me.

I didn't write down many other expences, because I don't want to bore you. I think with just the amount I've given you, anyone can see there's much more to having a race team than just hiring some riders.

I'd take Pourcel for $900K and make him race both classes and both coasts.

The other $100K goes to the Mahogany room.
