This is unbelievable. They just unloaded my youth. It sure takes me back to some of the best feelings of my life…anybody else race one or more of these? I raced 4 of these bikes.

I had two of those bikes, but different model years - a '74 XR75 and an '82 RM80.

Should be against the law to call those new XR’s CR125’s. Especially in the presence of the other classics in the trailer.

I raced the 78 and the 79. Thought I was going to race the 1980, but I grew 3 inches that winter. Got a 1980 RM125 instead.

My very first bike, a 76 XR75. First ride I whiskey throttled into a bushy juniper tree narrowly missing moms Dodge 4 door. I had a good cry and 20 minutes later I was ripping around a field. Rode that thing every day after school.

And how clean is the styling on that 77? RM100 and the 79 KX80?

Always loved the simple look. Yellow tank with the name SUZUKI and those cool looking vents on the sideplates. The KX with the green tank and the name KAWISAKI .

I always thought that those two brands should run with that look at the retro themed races.

I wanted the 79&. 80 RM 80 soo bad.  I remember all the sizes of bikes lined up . I had the money saved from working for farmers . And there was riding spots all ovr town including down my street. Plus I could ride at the farm . My mom would not allow it.  How was the 79,80 , 80,s ?

Yeah the RM100 is Super stylish .  I could touch the ground sitting at 12 . But I Loved the 80,s.  Probably why  my 1st new bike was a 92 RM125 . That and the 92 was like Whoa never saw a bike like this b4.  It was cool at the time .  Ha and probably why I like the small bikes now.  Not allowed to buy 1 with my money . You know the rebellious don’t tell me how I can spend my money.  Most of that money is from bailing hay.  In 76 I was paid .85 a week at 9 yrs old , haha. I think I was at 100 at 12 yrs old.  And I bought a gersensy cow if Suzy had a bull calf . I fed it for 3-4 weeks then sold it for 90-110 bucks.  It’s funny the farmer I worked for made me call another   To come & pu my calf. I told the farmer that he had to pay for him shipping my calf.  I never went along had to work. I didn’t think of it at the 1st time but I think the guy ripped me off .  The next day I hear I got 90 bucks . I would say what 90 it was 110 lbs . Then I heard oh yeah that’s all the calf’s where bringing.  The guy is thinking hey I got to run all ovr picking up these calf’s from farmers & kid farmers. F that 12 yr old I got to sit at the auction 1/2 the day .  He getting paid rt now & I am too. Lol
