This weekend is the opener for the new Shenandoah Speedway track in VA. Open practice tomorrow and race on Saturday.

I don't live too far from there. I knew they had the stock car track but hadn't heard anything about the MX track.

why is it that every first time mx track thinks lining it with old used tires is the way to lay it out?

I like the watering system but old tires?

Good use of old tires vs. hay bales can launch you off your bike.

There's also a stock car round track on the same property, so old tires are in abundance!!

I'm pretty sure I raced at the shenandoah fairgrounds when I was on a 50! Haha anywhere near there?

Interesting-- with the other new track down near Staunton that area is looking up!

I am riding right by there this weekend to see my folks in Harrisonburg. Thinking about hauling my bike now.

Yea was a little on the dry side. Ran alot more sprinkler pipe and hooked up 3 more sprayer heads last night. Gonna water good friday night so race day should be alot better! Still a work in progress, but it's nice to have a track that's OPENING and not CLOSING!
