Syria…the Assad Regime is no more. This isn’t a surprise…

If you’ve listened to sources like Mike Baker’s Presidential Daily Brief or other non-typical outlets that aren’t still licking thier wounds from being soooooo wrong during these last few months while lying about election polls or telling us that Joe wasn’t gonna pardon Hunter or leading their “news” with “Gavin goes to the Border!”…you know, news for the minions…well…this is what was really happening…

This “civil war” has been evolving over the last few weeks along with the informed observation that Russia and Iran seem too busy…too tapped out…in other places to lend the usual “helping hand”. In-fact, Russian personnel and resources have been exiting the theater.

This is the end result of The Arab Spring and was an eventuality…when you look at how things have been evolving since then. Hell, we contributed to it over the years…remember the F22 strikes on Russian targets in Syria…? I do. Sorry, Vlad. 🤣

With the fall of Syria, Iran’s main back door to moving weapons for or to Hamas and Hezbollah just got slammed shut.

Israel warned of this…looks like no one was listening.

What this really brings to the worlds attention is Russia and Iran’s failure and implied weakness. Nice.

Hopefully this is a chance to stay out of the conflicts of other nations.

biden and co. should be monitoring, but not interfering.

I’m sure they’re monitoring any potential to use this to steal more tax payer dollars.

“The Barbaric State has fallen. At last.” Emanuel Macron on X.

“It certainly seems like the world is…uhhh…goin’ a little crazy right now; and, we’ll be talkin’ about that.” Trump while taking questions with Macron in Paris, last night.

Let's hope.

Iran is perilously close to being a nuclear threat.

Chyna is building their military like nobody's business.

And are making noises about taking Taiwan by 2027.

Lots of shit needs to be brought back under some kind of sensible control.

It all starts with us coming back to the forefront of, energy production, which leads to economic, and military superiority.

In the late 2000s Russian oil giant Gazprom discovered the world's largest natural gas and oil find in Syria. And around 2010 made a deal with Assad to build a pipeline from central to Aleppo, and to a port. Amazingly, that's when all the violence started and everywhere that pipeline was going got destroyed. The news doesn't talk about it, but this is about money. (again)

Bullshit. In 2009-2010 Turkey and EU made a deal with Qatar to build pipeline to mainly Turkey, with extension to Europe. That`s when Russia rolled in to Syria to prevent it from happening. A little later Russia offered Turkey to build pipeline from Russia.

You basically made it all up from thin air. Russia has plenty of gas, they do not explore in Syria. What they need is control of pipelines and infrastrucyure cause Syria is key element in trade between Middle East and Europe. What they were doing is protecting their dominance of oil/gas trade in Europe. Now that it`s over and Europe hardly buy any from Russia, Syria is not interesting.

Only pipeline I know russians made a deal about is old 1950`s pipeline from Iraq to Syrian port. It`s an old pipeline damaged by US during Iraq war. Russians later pulled out of contract and Iraq Syria made a deal to built a new pipeline.

No, I don’t. It’s a decent resource for those that haven’t heard or scene ANY info or data on something that others have referenced & most net-search-Google-types seem to like it for a baseline source.

Myself? Look at what I referenced in my OP.

Surely this can't be real...or has the Australian national broadcaster gone to shit?

Reporting that Russia has stated they have made a deal with HTS rebels to give Assad asylum to secure the safety of Russian base in Tartus.

For starters, using Russia as the source, then quoting an agreement that makes absolutely zero sense.

"Hey Syria, we'll harbor the guy that we enabled to slaughter you in droves for years in exchange for keeping our bases safe"  "Deal?"  "Deal."

Who is whitewashing Russia in this thread? OldTech’s Russia story, even if it is apocryphal, didn’t seem to cast Russia in a positive light. Did someone delete a post or something?

What? What that pipeline has to do with Russia and what it has to do with OLDTECH`s bullshit story? Grasping at straws... Why?

Perhaps my english is not as good as I thought and I do not fully understand written posts. Oh well.

Syria will be a mess for years, the only stable part will be Kurdish(SDF/YPG-J) controlled Northeast. The US(NATO) will keep Turk aggressions to a minimum.

West wanted the Quatar pipeline to Turkey and into EU , Russia doesnt want this , Assad protects russian interests and refuses deal , West says Assad has to go , Russia says fuck you he stays , Assad signs deal with Iran to move gas into Syria , Russia doesnt care about this because Iran getting their gas into Syria is one thing and getting it into EU is another and that aint happening . The rest is details .

That might change under Trump .

To nobody's surprise, they propped joe up on the podium to claim responsibility for assad's overthrow.

(Small matter that the Israeli's were the driving force)

Then the commander's behind the scenes began launching missiles into "isis" strongholds inside Syria.

They just can't help themselves, keeping the middle east a raging dumster fire.

And another billion to the dwarf in ukraine.

😕

That would be fine me, at the bare minimum corral them a bit more. They've been playing the NATO card too long all the while being ethnic cleansers and friends to radical Islam.

Bro, you sure seem angry due to your “not knowing” about something that’s a known situation in diplomatic, intel and defense communities for many, many years and has been covered by all sorts of industries… and their associated media outlets…

Here’s an oil industry article form last year with a fairly good scope of coverage and reference to Russia’s interests that are reminiscent of how it was referred to some 30 years ago when I was working on providing imagery & comm’s for our people that were covering the region…this was “a thing” back then…this alignment between these nations regarding oil and oil transport in the region…you see, we’ve been monitoring this shit for DECADES….Russia’s, ours, Europe’s concerns…and the whole east versus west thing…for this region…is a known “thing”…also, know this…WHO has blown up or interfered with who’s pipelines is and has been and will be “a thing” around this part of the globe…for a long time to come.

https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Why-Iran--Is-Desperate-To-Finish-This-Pipeline.html

Excerpt from the article…regarding the most recent pipeline plans from Iran thru Syria to the most favored Russian port(s)…it’s a decent write-up explaining Russia/it’s proxies interest in transporting oil and other “things” thru Syria…

Russia’s interest alongside Iran in such a plan aligns with Moscow’s broad foreign policy objective of creating chaos where possible, into which it can eventually project its own solutions. Under the Russian- and Iranian-backed regime of President Bashar al-Assad, Syria has four huge strategic advantages to Russia, as analysed in depth in my new book on the new global oil market order. Briefly, first, it is the biggest country on the western side of the Shia Crescent of Power, which Russia has been developing for years as a counterpoint to the U.S.’s own sphere of influence that had been centred on Saudi Arabia (for hydrocarbons supplies) and Israel (for military and intelligence assets). Second, it offers a long Mediterranean coastline from which Russia can send oil and gas products (either its own or those of its allies, notably Iran) for cash export, plus weapons and other military items for political export. Third, it is a vital Russian military hub, with one major naval port (Tartus), one major air force base (Latakia) and one major listening station (just outside Latakia). And fourth, it shows the rest of the Middle East that Russia can and will act decisively on the side of the autocratic dynasties across the region

Still has nothing to do with Oldtech post I called bullshit. No word about some mysterious gas fields and pipeline Russia built. The way I took his post is that noble Russia found gas for poor Syria and built a pipeline and evil West (USA) destroyed it and kept destroying.   Let`s just forget it.

You read all that into his post?

Again, there’s soooo much history here…even adjacent to & beyond what you’ve invented…

What I don’t get? You assume so much while putting in no effort to learn the factual history of these matters. That’s embarrassing.

Oil…money…the root of all the shit going on over there…and in your own backyard. You should look into it before losing your shit when you don’t understand what’s being said…and why.

I’ve posted info and references from a couple of readily available sources…yet…you still avoid learning anything about the history of ANY of this…

And then you say shit like this…as if I “know it all”…uh, no. I just refuse to be ignorant.

Remember our recent “What is an ICBM” discussion?
Remember my reference to Crimea and the ORIGINAL Russian Invasion?
Remember what I posted when Vlad’s tanks rolled in back on the 24th of February in 2022…?

That’s not “knowing it all”. What that truly is..

Is not being a fool for “The News of the Day” & actually knowing and understanding how we got here.

But, I digress.

No matter. The 20th of January is upon us. A resolution is eminent.

Looks like the good old US of A wrecked another functional country by Iraq’ing and and Libya’ing it. I guess we can add Egypt, Lebanon and Syria to that list.
Next up….Iran🤦‍♂️

Too be fair, Israel and Turkey really helped out on this one…..and the CIA.
I’m sure the new “moderate” Al Queda and Isis will make sure their DEI department is fully engaged😂😂

Why does the US seem to hate Christian’s so much and love propping up Jihadi’s and religious fundamentalists.
Must just be part of their plan to bring stability to the area. I’m sure Syria is gonna be rock hard stable now.

Should be interesting to see how the land gets chopped up further.
