Don't they all ???

I find it bizarre the amount of gear sold, that hangs off the sides, and backs off 4x4's.

It's all a marketing scheme.

I carry all my recovery gear, camping gear (hammock and tarp when needed) and spare, tractor jack, etc...

All inside.

Fuel range is approx 310-350miles.

No need to carry extra fuel.

Though there is a site, long range America, that has a cool auxiliary fuel cell for my 4runner, that gives me an additional 20gal, installed where the original spare tyre was.

Ties in with the existing fuel system.

For planned west coast adventures.

And nothing on my dash.

But, to each their own.

I'm with ya Joey, nothing on the dash and clean windows and mirrors. Any rattle must be tracked down and solved. On the other end of the spectrum is my wife's car..... I don't even want to get in that thing anymore. 😆  I tell her come on how can you even drive this thing ? It looks like a homeless gypsy lives here, I've been in Mexican cabs with less shit. There's beads and chains and who knows what else hanging from the mirror, sand dollars shells and little pieces of driftwood all over the dash, the sand that's rattled out of the sand dollars makes everything slide around like corn meal in those bar games, flowers covering the radio screen, pictures of the grandkids covering the temperature guage and speedometer, I open the door and go..... I can't, lets take the truck. It gets half the mileage but fuck it 😆😆

Looks like a great day !

Breaking the rules but, this full rainbow presented itself for just a few minutes today. I really  missed it's most colorful glory . Oh well.

That is a great picture Joey. The closeup, the look into the eyes, nothing but his face. NOTHING, but the dog. A wee bit professional quality i say.

They came in, she sat down to take off her shoes.

He flopped down and let out a big sigh.

She just stuck her cell phone camera in his face to get the shot.

Those two are inseparable.

Heading up the Snake  river for another load of wheat today. This stretch of river is between Ice Harbor and Lower Monumental dams, 2 of the dams some folks want to tear out.

Barge, plus my usual dog shot.20241125 145816

Is this east of the Vernita Bridge?  Looks like Sentinel Peak on the Saddle Mountains out on the Hanford Reach?  I used to park just off 24 and ride my Mt Bike up that gravel road to the top.

yep. I try to drive up there a few times of year on clear days for the view. I sliced a tire once on that final push to the radio towers on the exposed basalt.

I also found some government documents online detailing where the old missile sites used to be. Cisterns, wells, garbage dumps etc. None of it exists anymore cepting for some old paved roads and concrete pads, but its fun to use your imagination.

Sometimes the Huskyish breeds seem more human than humans.

Made the 1.75 mile hike up to that lone juniper tree on the Ridge yesterday that is in the first pic I posted  on 11/14 . I forgot about the bell someone hung on it.

Imagine how tough it must have been to muscle that beast, stage after stage, for six days.
