On the Matthes podcast, RV said that he was expected to heal earlier than first predicted, and could possibly be on the bike before the 3rd to last round. So if that works out, he said he'd like to be at Pala.

Broken leg...can't train...yeah, 35 minute motos against some of the best in the world. Can't imagine why he wouldn't get in that mix right away.

He was still getting up to speed 4 races into the SX season then he's back on the couch with a broken leg. He needs a lot of time to get his conditioning back IMO. Be lucky to be fit by next January IMO.

Definitely want him back up to speed sooner than later, but, I'm tired of him sitting out due to injury. I would understand if he took off the 2011 SX season so he's 100% for MX next year.

Ya because he has something to prove.Whistling It's a coin flip between himself and Dungey for the fastest all around rider (SX and outdoors) on the planet. Thats all he needs is to rush back for some meaningless Nationals and get hurt again. Heal up Ryan and come back when you are ready

HE said he wants to train and be ready for Pala. But i doubt RV would go out there without being 100% so let's just hope he can get to it and come out!
