We're not talking about whether it was funny or not, we're talking about whether or not his comment about doing coke and pills with Kenny was sarcasm. You called people out as dumbasses for missing the sarcasm. My point is that did not come across as sarcasm.

I'm fortunately on the side of the fence of not giving a shit. I thought it was funny and entertaining, kind of like laughing at a drunken uncle at a family reunion. But at the same time I would have second thoughts inviting that on to my team unless the kid was a true prodigy.

I didn't put any stock in the drug use comment or the fuck my wife or call me asshole or my daughter has banged a few.

But you got to admit it all didn't come out in a very good light.

I would bet 99.99999% of my net worth that Mark is looking at this thread laughing his ass off.

A 19 year old nobody hit the 450 podium at Freestone. I'd call him a prodigy.

I hope so, I'm pulling for Kyle, Lewis and Holigan. I just hope the dad doesn't screw it up.

He's a lot better off with Jim Lewis than sleeping on a couch in Socal surrounded by people that really don't give a shit about anything other than themselves.

I believe that after listening to the show the reason they left was that they were not the number one rider. I think that they felt they didnt receive enough attention. He said when they sighned with Valley they were the first ones. And later they signed other riders and all of a sudden Kyle wasnt the main guy under the tent anymore. I think they wanted to be somewhere with low pressure and Kyle would be the number one guy. When that wasnt the case they bolted.

Incredible ride for sure, but to be a true prodigy,he will run up front for more than one race
and that was his home race.

If you were at Freestone and saw the second moto, you would know that he has what you can't train for or teach. He has that inner fire 30 minutes into a 100 degree moto that only winners have.

Interesting that Kyles step-dad said the team was supposed to be built around Kyle and others have stated that it was built around Ivan.

Jay, Mark was a bit crazy with some of his comments. But he does have a full reality of this sport.

Wow, that was a wicked awesome Saturday morning listen. My favorite quote: "I'm not gonna go as far as this, without going to far..." Well, I think Mr. Pellegrino went a little far but this guy is awesome.

I don't care who he is, or who he thinks he is, the guy is a real piece of work if he can, even jokingly or any other context, talk about his daughter banging guys. 100% unaceptable. Nothing else he says afterwards has ANY meaning whatsoever because the small amount of credibility he might of had before went out the window when he disrespected his own step daughter.

Unbelievable.

There were a couple of times in the interview that Mark started making some sense but they where few and far between. He realy needs to be interviewed in person where he can be calm and put some thought into the questions. It was a bit disturbing.Terry K is on the money. Forget Mark Regal. Let Kyle do what he needs to do. He seems like an OK kid.

Mark Regal came off as a douche. Patting himself on the back, as if coming from a normal "dairy farm" background has anything to do with how he´s perceived by the industry. "I don´t talk dirt about anyone", yeah right. He spoke shit about the whole industry for 45 mins, continuously giving himself a pat on the back for being an honest guy.

The only thing I really liked was how he told Kyle shouldn´t finish as high as perhaps a ride like Valli would have expected - and that was a very good point.

For the record, his last name is not Regal. Maybe that fact will help Kyle distance himself from the guy when the factories come calling. Lets hope.

Marc Pellagrino hasn't even been going to the races lately. It's just been Jim Lewis and Kyle.

kyle was not a nobody though, he comes from the great Amateur Nationals feeder racing and had already proved his abilities and speed there. he reinforced that with very good Outdoor Nationals races last year. It was obvious then that he was "consistent top 10" material.

Whatever Marcs program is...its working.
He has(in his own particular way)made a winner out of Kyle.
And he has just turned 19,and has made class passes on very important racers,(including reigning champ)
He has their respect, thats moooore than enough.
So Marc is not what you guys consider the nice guy with pretty manners ,(aka ass kisser) but he is getting the job done.
You should try to read between the lines,he said all true things, including some he should not have been so honest about.
I would feel honored if he took my son under his wing anytime.
