I’m wanting to purchase a set of xtrigs for my 25 crf450r but my only hang up is that there isn’t a mount for my Showa damper. I see that luxon makes an attachment to bolt onto their clamps for the damper. It looks like it would have enough clearance to drill and tap said mount onto a set of rocs pro clamps. Does anyone have any other suggestions or is this my path of least resistance?
The pre-2021 Honda xtrig clamps had the steering mount. The only difference is the number plate mount on the top clamp which I believe you would be able to make a mount with some aluminium angle easily enough save having to modify the clamps themselves
You could also tighten down the stem like what Jett does on his bike. But the bearing life will be significantly reduced.
