Absolutely, but you got to thank your lucky stars that it was available and thew weather was good enough for flying.  The paramedics on those flights are badasses and don't get the recognition they deserve.

I've been close to a situation like this in the mountains in winter where flight isn't always an option.  Luckily it was that day and it saved a life.

I wonder if the guys who put on the hard enduro in Page, AZ saw this and will maybe re-think their course for next year, some of the stuff the guys are riding at that event has crazy exposure.

Why bother with health and disability insurance to cover your expenses when you can instead mooch funds off others.  🤦

as an avid Moab goer this is not surprising in the least. so much shit down there that could un-alive you.  the slick-rock is super sticky until you lose traction, then it's good luck buddy. good on his homie to run down and help him, tossed that 300 like a spent doobie

Global Rescue is one of the best in the business for back country riding, camping, hiking, overlanding etc. Fantastic coverage and super affordable. Lots of my riding buddies have it and some of my non riding buddies who do big hunting trips out west.
